I’ve been at this training craic for years!

Don’t get me wrong , I’m not much good at it 😂

And I’ve never went to a high level

But…. I have been consistent ASF

And that has served me well

Your nutrition should be the same

Now more than ever you’ll have all sorts of “quick fixes”

Short programmes aimed at helping you drop lots of weight in a short period of time

But, then what?

It’s back to square one again

Alot of people worry about scale weight when in a diet

If the scale doesn’t move or goes up they panic

This can lead to unnecessarily cutting calories , and trying to train off the weight

Two things you don’t want to do !

When working with clients , the last thing I want to do is cut calories even lower , unless it’s necessary

Before we get to that point we need to assess what maybe impacting their scale weight

What a weekend of fights

2 had a small cut this morning

All fully fuelled and ready to rock !

Performance up

Weight down

No stupid drastic cut in calories

No dangerous weight cuts

Smart ,sensible approach to their nutrition

going 4-0 in pro boxing

Everyone is an expert

That’s the biggest problem

Everyone eats, therefore everyone has an opinion on nutrition

Its fine to have an opinion

But ,unfortunately this has lead to widespread misinformation

❌Don’t eat meat
❌Cut out carbs
❌Only eat one meal a day
❌Cut water out days before a weight cut
❌Eating after 6 turns you into a gremlin 😂

The list is endless

Are you confused about nutrition?

No bloody wonder with so many conflicting opinion being spewed daily by anyone with a mouth and a keyboard 🙈💩

Following every fad diet

Trying every next best thing

And, Over complicating your nutrition doesn’t work👎

Anything is possible 🔥

🤦‍♂️Years of yo yo dieting

🤯Struggling to get any sort of routine in place

🤷‍♂️Trying every “diet “ under the sun

Without any success🥲

Fast forward 90 days later🔥

After applying the correct principles and learning how to eat in a sensible sustainable way

This guy has smashed it

Still a lot of work to go

But it goes to show what can be done if you apply things right

I know the craic 💪

I could literally post 100s of clients testimonials and pictures at this stage

But thought that I’d share a bit of my own story

I was always skinny

I trained loads , ate reasonably well and stayed in decent shape

Until things changed 😂

I went to Uni for 4 years, ironically to study Nutrition

Slowly but surely I became the fattest and most unhealthiest,out of shape version of myself that I’d ever been!

I completely fell out of my normal routine

For a long time I really struggled to get back to where I was

I wouldn’t wear some clothes because I looked like I was pregnant 😂

I would pull my jeans up over my gut just to hide it 🙈😂

Not only that , but I’d f**k all energy and felt like I couldn’t walk the length of myself half the time

One day I tried on a pair of trousers and they wouldn’t fit

So I went down to get a new pair and tried a size up

They wouldn’t fit either 🤦‍♂️

So had to buy two sizes up from what I’d wore most of my life

That was the trigger

Something had to change!

Slowly but surely , and with the help of two coaches I gradually pulled myself back to where I was before

Now I’m pretty much lean all year round

Eat what I want ,when I want!

Have a pretty decent routine of both training and diet

And have been able to maintain this for years !

So , if you’re feeling stuck in a rut and can’t get out of your poor diet routine , I understand you

I’ve been there too

But, I know that with some help you can actually do something about it

That’s why my White collar warriors nutrition program is aimed at doing exactly what is needed to get you to where you want to be !

I’ll sit this one out 😂

I’m competitive asf

When it comes to sparring ,clinch or rolls

I usually can’t let sit a round out

But sometimes no matter how much you want to go again, you’re just plain fked

You end up doing it round just for the sake of it

Because if you don’t the rest of the lads won’t let you love it down

But you end up spending it on the back foot getting the head slapped off you 😂

Two things I learned the hard way

1. Rest when you need it .
Or else you’ll end up doing more harm than good

And 2.

Fuel your bloody workouts!

Landing in to sparring after eating a small breakfast with nothing but a 500ml bottle of Evian isn’t going to cut it!

✅Get a larger carb breakie into you (we would spar early on Saturday)
✅Have a carb snack closer to the sparring session
✅ Have some carbs during it - for me that’s be lucozade
✅Hydrate during it !

If you don’t you’ll end up in a heap like me in this picture 😂

It’s crazy how many fighters don’t pay attention to their performance nutrition

Which is why I’ve a whole module on it in my program

Showing you exactly what to do for all your sessions

What to eat
When to eat it
How much to have

And how to structure your diet to get the best out of your training!
