Acknowledgement from the family of the late John Buckley RIP.
The family of the late John Buckley wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who have supported us during this difficult time. Your kind words, prayers and presence have been a great comfort over the past month.
We wish to offer our deepest gratitude to all who called with us, Mass cards, sympathy cards, and messages of condolences, and those who called to the wake and attended the funeral.
Our sincere appreciation is extended to all the staff at Avila Nursing home who looked after John with such dignity and kindness. We will be forever grateful for their care and support John received throughout his illness, and will be forever grateful to all involved.
We would like to extend a word of thanks to Fr Anthony Moffitt for visiting John during his illness and for celebrating the requiem mass and burial.
Many thanks to Frances for the lovely musical enhancement of the Requiem Mass.
It was a beautiful send off for a much loved brother, uncle, neighbour and friend.
Thank you to the district nursing team who cared for John at home and visited throughout his time in Avila. He always looked forward to catching up with them and having the craic.
Finally thank you to Daniel and his team at Daniel Mallon Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism throughout John’s wake and funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation.

The family of the late Hugh Boyle wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of a much-loved husband, daddy, brother and granda.
We wish to offer our deepest gratitude to all who called to our home, brought food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and messages of condolence and to all those who travelled long distances to attend the wake and funeral.
A special word of thanks to all family and friends who helped in the home during the wake.
Your kindness and support have been a great comfort to us during this difficult time.

We are deeply grateful to Hughes family Camlough (Fiships), Mc Ardle family (Snaubs), Fitzpatrick family (Timoneys), Kevin Hughes (Carnview Construction), Neil McCourt (Dog Eclipse), Donal Boyle (Toals Bar), Paul Quinn (The Yellow Heifer) and Hugh’s staff from The Shelbourne Bakery. Your support and help will never be forgotten.

Our sincere appreciation is extended to the medical and nursing team in Belfast City Hospital, Dr Mc Kinley and practice, Palliative Care Team and Evora for all their care attention given to Hugh.
A special mention of thanks to the carers who looked after him with such dignity and kindness. We will be forever grateful to you all.
We would like to extend a word of thanks to Fr Sean Mc Cartan for celebrating the requiem mass and burial and to Deacon Philip Carder for concelebrating. To Fr Brian Mc Creesh for visiting him during his illness and to Fr Patrick (Dominican, Newry) for visiting our home and leading prayers during the wake. All of your presence brought great comfort to our family.
To Catherine Clarke sacristan and to Kathleen Moore and Conor Sands and musicians who performed beautifully at the mass. Thanks to the guards of honour that lined the route to the chapel.

The family of the late Mary (Minnie) Murphy wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement and during Minnie’s illness.
We offer our deepest gratitude to our relatives, friends, and mummy’s exceptional neighbours. To those who called to our home, brought food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, and messages of condolence, and to all those who travelled long distances to attend the wake and funeral. Your kindness and support have been a great comfort to us during this difficult time.
We extend our sincere thanks to Fr Larkin and Deacon Philip for the dignified celebration of Requiem Mass and for their spiritual support and guidance. Thanks also to Frances for the beautiful music, to Ann our sacristan, and to Josephine, our Eucharistic Minister, for their valued assistance.
A special word of thanks to Dr Giby and the staff of Meigh Surgery, and to Richard and the staff of Meigh Pharmacy, for their care and attention to Minnie. We also wish to thank the district nurses of the Crossmaglen and Bessbrook teams, especially Becky, for all their dedication and kindness. We also extend our thanks to the Marie Curie team for their support.
We are especially grateful to Donna and Susanne, who cared for Minnie at home, for their unfailing kindness, compassion, and gentle care, which meant so much to Minnie and to our family.
We also wish to thank Kate and Cathal of Lislea Community Centre for kindly providing the facilities after the Funeral Mass, and to McEntee’s for the beautiful refreshments provided.

We regret to inform you of the passing away of the late Martin Joseph Loughman RIP,
Manchester and formerly Co Armagh

Martin passed away on the 27th March 2026 in Manchester, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Patricia RIP, devoted Dad to Lewis, cherished son of Tom and the late Anna RIP, loving brother to Cathal, Tommy, Mark and Anna-Marie, caring uncle to Mark, Niamh, Tom and Frankie, a dear cousin and friend to many.
Martin’s remains will repose in Mallon’s Funeral Home, Mill Rd, Bessbrook BT35 7DT on Thursday 16th April from 5:30pm-7pm.
Cortège will arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart Lislea for 7:30pm that evening.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday followed by interment in adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family circle and friends both in Ireland and Manchester.

Carroll (Banbridge and Formerly Forkhill) Gerard “Ged” RIP, passed away peacefully at home, 5th April.
Devoted Daddy to Leon, Melanie, Matthew, Breannah, Kim, Paddy and Francis.
A loving Grandad, cherished son of the late Patrick and Annie, dearest brother of June, Clare, Kay and the late Maureen and Tess and a dear uncle and friend.
Ged’s remains will repose in Mallon’s funeral home Mill Rd, Bessbrook BT35 7DT on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm for friends and family to pay their respects.
A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11am Thursday followed by private cremation.

Month’s Mind and acknowledgment from the family of the late Kieran Burns RIP

The wife and family of the late Kieran Burns would like to extend our gratitude for the sympathy and support received during the recent loss of a dearly loved husband, father, Granda, brother, uncle and friend.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends, neighbours and wider circle who came to pay their respects at the home, funeral and cemetery.
To everyone who brought or sent food to the house and everyone who helped in any way. It made a very difficult time easier.
We thank everyone who brought mass cards and sympathy cards and to all who made donations to Evora Hospice.
To Fr. Andrew McMahon for his attendance at the house and for the dignified and moving funeral mass. Thanks also to Kerrie Kennedy for the beautiful singing at the funeral.
Grateful thanks to everyone who cared for Kieran. The doctors and nurses of Craigavon and Belfast City hospitals, especially all the staff of 1 South Craigavon, for the dignity and care shown to Kieran during his time in hospital. We also extend our thanks to Dr Dillon and Dr Suiter and staff of Banbridge Group Surgery who tended to Kieran throughout his illness.
We are deeply indebted to everyone at Daniel Mallon Funeral Directors, particularly Daniel for his help and guidance during the wake and funeral. His professionalism, compassion and support through those days was immeasurable.

We the family of the late Brendan McKinney wish to offer our sincere gratitude to all those who have supported us through our recent bereavement.
Many thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass, sympathy cards and messages of condolence. We extend our appreciation to those who cared for Brendan. The staff at Clanrye Surgery to the medical teams in Daisy Hill Hospital HDU unit , to the John Mitchell branch Foresters. Who attended the wake and a guard of honor at the funeral this was much appreciated.

We also offer our warmest gratitude to Fr. Donal and all the friars in the Dominican Newry for their pastoral support and for the beautiful funeral mass celebrating Brendan's life. We, the family of the late John Campbell RIP, wish to thank all those who supported us during our recent bereavement.

Many thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent messages of condolences, sympathy and mass cards, brought food for the wake and sent flowers.

Our sincere gratitude to the District Nurses and Palliative Care Team in the Southern Trust and to the Careers from L&B Care Services.

Also a thank you to all his Biker Friends who attended his funeral and gave him the send off he truly deserved. We are forever grateful.
