Acknowledgement from the family of the late John Buckley RIP.
The family of the late John Buckley wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who have supported us during this difficult time. Your kind words, prayers and presence have been a great comfort over the past month.
We wish to offer our deepest gratitude to all who called with us, Mass cards, sympathy cards, and messages of condolences, and those who called to the wake and attended the funeral.
Our sincere appreciation is extended to all the staff at Avila Nursing home who looked after John with such dignity and kindness. We will be forever grateful for their care and support John received throughout his illness, and will be forever grateful to all involved.
We would like to extend a word of thanks to Fr Anthony Moffitt for visiting John during his illness and for celebrating the requiem mass and burial.
Many thanks to Frances for the lovely musical enhancement of the Requiem Mass.
It was a beautiful send off for a much loved brother, uncle, neighbour and friend.
Thank you to the district nursing team who cared for John at home and visited throughout his time in Avila. He always looked forward to catching up with them and having the craic.
Finally thank you to Daniel and his team at Daniel Mallon Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism throughout John’s wake and funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation.
John’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 25th of April at 18.00pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Cloughreagh.
