WEBB (Rathfriland, formerly Glynneath, Wales) – 31st October 2025, Clive. Suddenly at his home, 26 Lissize Ave.

Husband of Lucy, much loved father of Sean and Megan, loving father-in-law of Kelly and cherished granda of Joe.

Clive’s remains will repose at 10 Bearnagh View, Rathfriland from tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3.00pm until 9.00pm. Removal on Wednesday at 10.30am for 12.30pm Service in Dardistown Crematorium, Dublin.

House Private on Wednesday morning please.

Deeply regretted and missed by his entire family and friends.

HAUGHIAN (nee Fegan)- (Rathfriland) – 24th October 2025, Clare. Peacefully at Rathfriland Manor surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Michael, much loved mother of Mary, George, Donna, Tania, Micháela and Dierdre. Loving sister of Maureen, Brendan, Gertie, Donal, Yvonne and the late Geordie and Eileen.

Clare’s remains will repose at her late home, 43 Cross Heights, Rathfriland from this afternoon (Saturday) at 4.00pm until 9.00pm, tomorrow (Sunday) from 2.00pm until 9.00pm. Removal on Monday at 11.30am for 12.00noon Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Rathfriland. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House Private on Monday morning please.

Month’s Mind Acknowledgement

MONAGHAN - Dessie

The family of the late Dessie Monaghan, 19 Spelga Park, Hilltown, would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to everyone for the kindness and comfort extended to us through prayers, mass and sympathy cards, messages of support, flowers, those who attended the wake and funeral and joined via we**am, brought food and helped in the house.

Our sincere thanks goes to Monsignor Hugh Connolly for his comforting words and prayers at the house and for celebrating Dessie’s life at his Requiem Mass. We want to thank Eileen Mooney and Eadaoin Devlin for the beautiful music during the funeral service.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the staff of Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry.

Thanks to Marian Brannigan, INF Hall, Hilltown and Diamonds Restaurant, Warrenpoint for providing refreshments after the funeral.

The family also wish to thank Peter McGinn Funeral Directors for the professional way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it isn’t possible to thank everyone individually who provided support and comfort we hope this will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Joe’s remains will repose at his late home, 7 East End Terrace, Banbridge, tomorrow (Monday) from 2.00pm until 9.00pm. Removal on Tuesday at 12.30pm for 1.00pm Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dromore Street, Banbridge. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Dromore Road, Banbridge.

Month’s Mind Acknowledgement

COSGRAVE – Kathleen

We, the family of the late Kath Cosgrave, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and sympathised with us during the recent bereavement of our Mother.

Your presence at the wake and funeral, your kind words, Mass and Sympathy Cards and donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer’s Society were greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all those who brought food to the house and to our friends, neighbours and extended family who assisted us over the wake and funeral period; your many acts of kindness meant so much to us.

A special word of thanks to Deacon Michael Rooney, for his prayer, words of comfort and making Mummy’s Funeral Mass so meaningful and personal and for his pastoral care over these past few years. We would also like to express our gratitude to Fr. McNeill and Canon Brown who concelebrated the Funeral Mass, your presence was greatly appreciated.

We are deeply grateful to PJ, Colm and Sean of Peter McGinn Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and dignified manner with which they conducted Mummy’s funeral arrangements.

To Eileen Mooney and Emily, thank you for the beautiful music and singing which added so much to the service.

We would like to express our thanks to the Dromore Diocesan Lourdes and Ballela GAC for providing the lovely guards of honour at the Church.

Thanks also to the staff of the Diamonds Restaurant who provided food and refreshments following the funeral.

We would particularly like to acknowledge the exceptional care given to our Mother by the staff of Banbridge Trust Homecare Team and by Kathleen, Mairead and Monica. We will be forever grateful for the love you bestowed on Mummy and for caring so lovingly for her. Your kindness, dignity and compassion brought so much comfort to us a family. Thanks also to Dr. Dillon’s GP Practice, the staff of Banbridge Health Centre and the District Nursing Team.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Mummy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 28th September at 9.45am in All Saint’s Church, Ballela.

Beloved husband of the late Christina, much loved father of Adrienne, Caroline, Nigel and Aislinn, loving father-in-law of Dympna and Kieran, devoted granda of Kirsty, Lauren, Erin and Larsson and great granda of Grace, Sean, Lila-Rose and Eleya.

Removal on Thursday at 12.00noon for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in the Church of St John the Evangelist, Ballymaghery, Hilltown. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

RODGERS - Emma

We, the family of the late Emma Rodgers wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who supported us and continue to do so as we come to terms with the loss of our beloved daughter and sister.

We deeply appreciate the love, kindness and support extended to us through prayers, attendance of the wake and funeral, as well as those who sent mass and sympathy cards, brought food or made donations in lieu of flowers to the Evora Hospice.

Our thanks to Father Charles Byrne for his prayers, words of comfort and for making Emma’s funeral mass so meaningful and personal. We would also like to express our gratitude to Canon Frank Kearney and Father Colum Murphy who concelebrated the funeral mass; your presence was greatly appreciated.

To Anna Moore, thank you for the beautiful music and singing which added so much to the mass.

We would particularly like to acknowledge Colm and PJ from Peter McGinn Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and for the dignified manner with which they handled Emma’s funeral arrangements.

Thanks to Loft56 who provided refreshments following the funeral mass and to Rathfriland Parish Centre for the provision of additional seating for the wake.

To Dr Alison Megaw, the Rathfriland District Nursing Team, Life & Time and Marie Curie thank you for your care for Emma in her final days. Our most grateful thanks to her colleagues at the Evora Hospice for enabling Emma to fulfil her wish of returning home.

It is impossible to mention all those who have supported us during this difficult time. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation and thanks.

May the love and memories we carry of Emma in our hearts continue to guide and comfort us.

Emma’s months mind will be celebrated on Friday 1st August at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Cabra.
