Newry City was declared a BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT on the 6th November 2015. In March 2021 Newry BID was voted in for a second five year term by its members. It now has a mandate up to 2026 and will continue to work on behalf of businesses to help them Belong; and to Invest in; and Deliver for; Newry City Centre.

Festive parking boost for Newry and Lisburn!🎄

Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has announced a pilot scheme giving shoppers one hour’s grace after their paid on-street parking session ends for on-street Controlled Parking Zones in Newry and Lisburn this holiday season.

The pilot runs from Monday to Saturday until 10 Jan 2026.
