Have you ever heard of Cholecystitis?

It's the medical term for inflammation of the gallbladder!

Your gallbladder is a small pear-shaped organ on the right side of your abdomen just beneath your liver.

Gallstones can cause a blockage in the tube leading out of the gallbladder (CBD) which leads to a bile buildup and inflammation.

Symptoms can include:

✔️ Pain in upper right or centre abdomen.

✔️ Pain that spreads to right shoulder or back.

✔️ Tenderness to touch on your abdomen.

✔️ Nausea & vomiting.

Signs & symptoms can occur after a meal particularly fatty ones.

An abdomen scan will detect the presence of gallstones.
