The Art of Sound in the morning is an invitation for meeting stillness within and to leave us feeling set up for the rest of the day. It may help with making you feel more motivated, creative, confident and energised as well as helping to relax your nervous system, and vagus nerve stimulation.

At The Art of Tao, sound is curated through the generative cycle of the Five Elements — a Taoist immersion.

In my local area I’m providing a Sound Journey where you will be guided through sound on a journey inward — inviting connection, awareness, and a deeper listening to your inner self.

Come as you are. Let sound lead the way and be your guide into self expression.

Please bring with you a comfortable mat to lay on, a warm blanket, a pillow, cosy socks, and anything else that will make you feel snug and cosy.

Wear clothing that is comfortable and cosy.

Group sound journeys are not suitable for:
1st trimester of pregnancy
Recent metal implant surgery
Pace maker
Deep emotional issues
Neurodivergent disorders

A private tailor made sound journey or sound therapy programme may be more suitable for you, please contact me for further advice on this.

A private 1:2:1 Sound Journey in my sound studio: Bovey Tracey

A place where you can completely relax, unwind and let yourself be. Let the silence unfold within you and your journey of self discovery begin.

These sound journeys are tailor made for your own personal needs.

The room can be organised to accommodate up to 4 people but prior arrangements need to be made so set up can be completed.

These sessions last 1hr and 30 minutes and consist of an hours worth of sound and 30 minutes of grounding and reflection with a cup of herbal tea to refresh and nourish you.

I’m very excited to be starting from Thursday 4th September Sound Journeys at Pridhamsleigh centre. This is such a beautiful sacred place to be in whether you are the facilitator or a participant, it automatically makes you feel relaxed and nurtured🙏.

My Sound Journeys will have a Taoist theme to them and will consist of Gongs, Singing Bowls, Monolina and various other sacred and percussion instruments to take you on a sacred listening journey guided by The Art of Tao.

These Sound Journeys will be on the first Thursday of every month starting from September.

Time: 11.15am - 12.15pm

Cost: £15pp
