Following on from our very popular post about ... here is a story of pet .

Mish lives at klein house in and really loves living there!!
Mish wanted a pet to look after because of growing up around animals and wanted something to look after, so chose some fish.

Mish also likes fish and chips but has promised not to eat his new little goldfish!!!! They are called them Torpedo and Bob and they are not edible!

Mish likes to have a chat with them and watch them swim and hide behind the decorations in their tank.

A big thank you to all the staff here at Klein for helping this happen!

Special Thanks to Hannah Blight.

Thanks to Hannah Blight for sharing her project around .

A few weeks ago a person took their own life on a bridge near Kanner home in Devon . Since then Hannah was aware of another person in distress on the same bridge locally, who also took their own life. There was a third attempt but luckily the police were called and were able to successfully intervene.

Hannah and the residents at Kanner thought that lots of people might be struggling due to isolation. With this in mind everyone wanted to see if there was a way that they could look at trying to avoid others taking their lives.

The idea was to design a poster and distribute it locally with some helpful numbers and organisations. Thanks to all for sharing their story. We have attached the poster and congratulate all for their caring nature and hope this helps local residents in the area.

Hi Modus! Please see a new competition below!

To mark Learning Disability Week (15-21 June), we are launching a competition across the whole of Salutem!

The idea for the competition came from Pete Gascoigne at the company’s Greenfields Close in , who recently created his own colouring book to help himself and friends to combat the lockdown blues.

Pete Gascoigne, 51, who is living with learning difficulties and epilepsy, enjoys colouring in and wanted to share the happiness it brings him with other people in his home.

Please send entries to : Marketing@Salutemsharedservices.co.uk
