Our time to care approach is fundamental to our mission to deliver just bloomin’ good care and ensure you feel confident, maintain your independence and never feel rushed or reduced to a 'case'.🙅🏽‍♀️

As one of our carers said recently, “The problem with 15-minute care calls is that as a carer you only have enough time to do what’s absolutely necessary and there isn’t time for any social interaction with the client. Often you feel like you’ve just arrived, and then you’re off again.”

Blossom’s 50-minute minimum visit means carers have the time to ‘care’ without making them, or you, feel rushed. Our holistic approach allows time for genuine, professional friendships to bloom.🌼🌸

The great thing about doing what we do is you never know what each day will bring. At this visit, earlier this week, Carer Eryn and client J got chatting about the old days and how much she used to love dancing with her husband. They put on some music and soon J was wanting to demonstrate that she still had the moves! It developed into such a lovely moment that Eryn managed to capture on video to share with next of kin. I'm so pleased we got a copy too, along with permission to share it. These little moments mean so much to everyone concerned and, having the 'time to care', makes such a BIG difference to everyone's day.

There was one interview yesterday and the others have all been conducted today for the Great British Care Awards 2025. All we have to do now is book the table, get our outfits sorted and🤞WIN some awards!

It was lovely yesterday to be in the office when client K brought in some gifts in celebration of Bobbie's pregnancy. Bobbie, who is looking bloomin' received some gorgeous flowers and really nice some cakes (yes, what 'was' in the flower pots 'were' cakes! 😋😋😋).
