Families navigating the SEND system deserve clarity β€” not confusion. πŸ“˜

SEN Advocacy is an unregulated sector.
We choose to hold ourselves to the highest standards anyway.

Every SENse Advocate is:

βœ” Degree educated and post graduate qualifications in SEN
βœ” IPSEA Level 3 qualified
βœ” Neuro-affirming trained
βœ” Bound by a child-led code of practice
βœ” Transparent about fees (from Β£75 per hour)
βœ” Offering a free 15-minute consultation πŸ’¬

We do not create fear.
We do not overpromise.
We provide honest, evidence-based guidance.

Some children are not thriving in mainstream settings.

Not because they lack ability.
But because the environment does not yet feel safe or accessible.

The SENse Support Hub (Newton Aycliffe) provides alternative provision for children aged 5–16 🏫

β€’ Maximum 6 students per session
β€’ 1:3 staffing ratio
β€’ Regulation-first approach 🌱
β€’ Sensory room & specialist studio
β€’ Bespoke strengths-based curriculum
β€’ Access to MDT professionals

For many primary pupils, the focus is:

Safety.
Connection.
Rebuilding trust in learning.

We currently have 4 primary spaces available
(Tuesday & Thursday mornings, 9–12)

If you are planning provision that centres the child β€” we’re here. 🀝

When a child is struggling, it is rarely because they are β€œnot trying.”

More often, it’s because their needs are not yet fully understood.

At SENse Support, we believe children don’t need fixing β€” environments do. 🧩

We bring together:

βœ” Alternative Provision – The Hub (Newton Aycliffe) 🏫
βœ” Outreach for children currently unable to access education πŸ“
βœ” National SEND Advocacy & EHCP support πŸ“˜

Assessment. Advocacy. Specialist provision. Connected. 🀝

We are neuro-affirming.
We are trauma-informed.
We are child-led and rights-based.

We put the pieces together β€” ethically and honestly.

If you're seeking thoughtful SEND support, let’s begin the conversation. πŸ’¬

There won’t be any knee jerk reactions from us today but we are getting lots of questions about what impact the proposed SEND reforms may have for children with existing EHCPs.

This guidance for parents is a good starting point:
