Sharon filled Newton House with holiday cheer as residents sang along to their favourite Christmas classics and even got up for a little dancing! Her warm energy and fabulous music brought smiles all around and made the day truly special ❤️

We’re thrilled to share that Santa Claus will be visiting us on Friday 12th December, 2:30pm - 4:30pm!

He’ll be popping into each of our communities to say hello to residents and greeting any visitors who stop by - bringing plenty of festive cheer along the way.

It’s officially the 1st of December, and that means one thing at Newton House Care Home… Christmas has begun! 🎅🌟

This afternoon, our residents rolled up their sleeves, shared lots of laughter, and spent time together doing the first of the decorating for the festive season. Today, we started with our Christmas trees with everyone playing a part in making Newton House look wonderfully warm and Christmassy 🎄

We love seeing our community come together like this—these special moments truly make the season bright. Keep and eye as we continue to update you with our fabulous decorating and festive activities ✨

What a wonderful start to the day we had here at Newton House! This morning, we were delighted to welcome back the talented accordionist Gary Blair, who filled our home with bright, uplifting melodies that set the perfect tone for the day 🎼✨

Gary’s lively accordion performance brought so much joy to our residents. From classic tunes to cheerful favourites, the music had everyone smiling, tapping their feet, and reminiscing about fond memories. There’s something truly special about beginning the morning with live music—it brings energy, warmth, and a sense of togetherness that lasts all day long 💛

A heartfelt thank you to Gary Blair for sharing his talent and creating such a positive, memorable morning for us all 🪗

This weekend at Newton House Care Home, we proudly celebrated St. Andrew’s Day with a wonderful line-up of traditional Scottish entertainment! 🎉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

On Friday, our residents were delighted by an incredible performance from a group of talented young Highland dancers. Their energy, skill, and beautifully choreographed routines brought so much joy—and plenty of smiles—to everyone watching 🩰

Then today, we were honoured with a visit from Tam the Piper, who filled the home with the rich, unmistakable sound of traditional Scottish bagpipe music. His performance created a fantastic atmosphere and truly captured the spirit of the occasion 🎶

It’s been a heart-warming weekend full of culture, music, and celebration. Thank you to all who helped make our St. Andrew’s festivities so special! 💙✨
