We honour those who fought so that we can live our life free.

At New Day Care we care & support for those who lived and were affected by the Second World War, and can tell stories of conditions we can only imagine living in now.

Each year, our very own Rosie takes part in a Halloween special at the Gym class she attends.

Every year, the group raises money for Derian House by dressing up and doing a fitness class.

Here’s a few pictures from last years cutest and funniest fancy dress.

Derian House are a children’s hospice based in Preston and every penny raised goes towards the respite of children and those children at the end of their lives.

🧠 WORLD STROKE DAY 🧠

October 29th marks World Stroke Day, with this years theme being aimed at acting FAST.

🌍 Every 2 seconds, someone around the world has a stroke.

It is imperative to know the signs of a stroke, and all our care givers here at New Day Care undertake Stroke Awareness training that provides them with a knowledge and skill set to assist anyone showing signs & symptoms of a stroke.

Do you know what steps to take in the event of a stroke?

F - Facial Weakness
A - Arm Weakness
S - Slurred Speech
T - Time to act.

Anyone experiencing any of the above need immediate medical attention. The faster you act, the sooner someone gets the treatment they need.
