HOW CAN I HELP YOU?
This is usually my opening question to a new patient cause first and foremost as a physiotherapist I am here to help you meet your needs that prompted you to seek treatment!!
Whether that is education and reassurance about an injury, exercise prescription or manual therapy for pain management it is always important to address patients wants and expectations.
Then we need to collaborate together to make sure that I carry out my role as a physio to help restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.
So if you are suffering with joint pain,a movement restriction or struggling to get out and do what you enjoy, why not give physio a go.

you moving

How you coping with the lock down?
Being in lock down has documented mental impacts.
According to reviews of studies documenting the psychological impact of quarantine the following symptoms are the post prevalent: low mood, insomnia, stress, anxiety, anger, irritability, emotional exhaustion and depression.
Some tips to try prevent these are;
1. Keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues
2.Don't watch news and social media for more than an hour a day.
3.Give yourself a treat at regular intervals.
4.Reach out to someone who you think might be struggling.
5.Look after your physical wellbeing.

To all my past patients would love to hear that you are all safe and how you are managing during this time.

Keep Safe xx

Hello Everyone...
I just haven't had a chance to post anything with things being so crazy but rather late then never.
Arrived in the UK on Tuesday and staying in a little town between Liverpool and Manchester.
The last 2 weeks in SA just flew by and sadly I didn't get to see everyone I wanted to but the love and support from all my patients was overwhelming.THANK YOU for all the supportive messages and especially for all the gifts I received.
It stung which each goodbye to patient's who become like family, patients who I believe I made a difference in their lives and it all just makes me love my job even more!!!
I plan to keep this platform to continue educating people on Physio related topics.
