Thanks to everyone who supported the Santa Canter 2025 🐴🎅. It was a great turnout and a lovely sight to see horses and riders in festive finery trotting through town. We raised a total of £350 to be shared between The Game Change Project -not for profit organisation and Teenage Cancer Trust

Huge thanks to the Bound family JK & ME Bound and Son, Llangurig for hosting our 'Achieve' Mechanics group - giving them valuable insights into the rewards and challenges of running and growing a successful haulage, transport and logistics business in Midwales.
We are very grateful for the opportunity and for taking the time to show us around and explaining the operations behind the business ☺️👍🚛

A wonderful shared session with Age Cymru Powys and Veterans UK making bird feed wreaths for the Veterans to put in their gardens and enjoy seeing the birds thrive over the winter months.
Our young people said they really enjoyed the experience of giving back and helping others in the run up to Christmas 🎄 😀

Creating 'Vision Boards' - a great way to spark conversations about future goals and aspirations and how to take the first steps towards achieving them. 🤔 Also quite therapeutic and great fun. Well done everyone 👏 👍

Suspense is building for our Christmas raffle! 1st prize a barrow of booze just in time for Christmas!🤶🎄🎅 2nd prize an IPad, 3rd prize a luxury hamper. Tickets are £1 each and will be available at Llanidloes Xmas Light Switch on this Saturday. The grande draw is taking place on 11th December.😃 Got to be in it to win it!

Something different for todays group! Thanks to Steve from N-able for putting on a brilliant session of wheelchair basket ball at Maldwyn Leisure Centre! The combination of good citizenship, physical exercise, sportsmanship and fun was a great boost for the spirits. After a few thrills and spills, the red team came up trumps and had the winning score - better luck next time Sam's team 😆😆

We are very proud of the group for deciding to educate themselves about the diverse experiences of disabled individuals and the barriers they may face.

In the spirit of Christmas, each of our groups has planned and activity to give back to the community and help others. Starting with the Mechanics group this week, they decided they wanted to experience a sport from a disabled person's point of view. So...we got together with N-able newtown, who have kindly offered to run a wheelchair basketball taster for us.

N-able is a charity based in Newtown, supporting anyone above the age of 9 years old, with additional learning needs other disabilities and able bodied participates to include everyone in sporting activities and bring together a strong community.

Huge thanks to our farming families for organising a sale of lambs at Aberystwyth Livestock Auction on Saturday, raising a fantastic sum of £586.00! 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
We are grateful to Aled Ellis and Co Ltd Auctioneers for allowing us the opportunity to promote our cause and raise awareness of issues affecting rural youth.

We appreciate it's a tough time for the farming community and we're extremely grateful to everyone who donated a lamb to support our work. All proceeds raised will support our mission to provide a learning lifeline for young people in Midwales.
