We are one of the leading providers of home care and support in and around Wakefield. We provide care for the elderly with the help of our well trained and dedicated staff members.

You will be joining a dedicated team who oversee the delivery of their services to people across the Wakefield and Pontefract area
We offer excellent pay rates, guaranteed hours contracts, paid training, free uniform, online and on the job training, with the opportunity to advance on previous training which includes completing qualifications relating to the job role.

Croft Care Services are looking for dedicated, full, part-time, and flexible, community carers, with own transport, to join our team.

We currently have vacancies in Horbury, Ossett, Stanley, Wakefield City centre, Normanton and Featherstone.

We also require a full time Senior Carer and full time Care Coordinator to be based at our head office in Normanton.

We provide care between 6am and 11pm (morning and lunch shift 6am-2.00pm/ tea and evening shift 3-11pm / full day 6am -11pm).

Full and part-time carers work a 2-week shift pattern with one weekend on and one weekend off. We also offer flexible weekend and evening hours.

Please note any applicant will be subject to a DBS

We offer Free Training as well as:

Job Type: Full-time

We are one of the leading providers of home care and support in and around Wakefield. We provide care for the elderly with the help of our well trained and dedicated staff members.

We offer excellent pay rates, guaranteed hours contracts, paid training, free uniform, online and on the job training, with the opportunity to advance on previous training which includes completing NVQ/QCF qualifications relating to the job role.

You will be joining a dedicated team who oversee the delivery of their services to people across the Wakefield and Pontefract area.

The Care Co-ordinator's role will involve:
- Working with and alongside other co-ordinators in the day-to-day operation of the Domiciliary Care Services and maintaining up to date records.
- The management of a team of Care workers.
- Scheduling and producing rota's for their team of community care staff and the competence to work around such rota's when sickness and absence of carers is involved.
- Participating as required in the initial assessment of service users needs and planning service user care along with updating risk assessments and care plans.
- Liaising with other health and social care professionals to develop a person centred package of care for new clients.
- Reporting to the Manager on a weekly basis regarding activity levels and outcomes for service users.
- Undertaking on call duties on a rotated basis.
- Having or willingness to develop a good understanding of the geographical area.
- Responsibility for helping and supporting care workers.
- Covering calls as required to service users during times of holiday and sickness.
- Previous experience in Domiciliary Care.

The successful Care Co-ordinator will be subject to a clear DBS and have:
- An NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or commitment to undertaking the appropriate training.
- Previous experience in Domiciliary Care.
- Good IT Skills.
- Good leadership and organisational skills.
- A full driving license.
- Excellent communication skills.
