It is important that as osteopaths, we continue to learn, attend courses, and nurture our innate curiosity.

Sometimes, we are rewarded with opportunities for learning that can only be described as a gift, and the last few days offered just that.

I was incredibly lucky to be one of the attendees on a course led by Manuela Da Rin and Robin Seamer - the kind that gives you wings.

A huge thank you to Osteopathic Studies Scotland for encouraging them to travel to Edinburgh.

During the past two years, my travels to Poland for lecturing has been under pandemic lockdown so the atmosphere has reflected that with reduced class sizes.

This weekend, with a war happening next door, and many of the student's having Ukrainian family and friends, a full room of 38 turned up.

Even though talk in the breaks inevitably concentrated on what is going on just over 800km away, they were one of the most engaged and capable groups I've had the pleasure of teaching.
