I am a small business providing a dedicated service for your pooch as if they were my own.

Hoochie Poochie Dog Grooming will open for business in North Berwick in April 2014 and will provide the highest quality bespoke grooming services and products to customers. As a dog owner myself, my business has come about from my desire to make the grooming process as stress free an experience as possible for both pet and owner. After looking at different grooming schools, I decided to enroll on a professional dog grooming course at Scotlands Pet Industry Federation accredited grooming training centre where I would be taught to groom to 'breed standard' on a range of dogs and would also be taught varying 'pet styles'. I also have a Certificate in Canine First Aid so owners can rest assured that their pets are in the best possible hands. I aim to provide a service as individual as your dog and will allocate a treatment that suits their coat and skin, using the best hypoallergenic shampoos and conditioners.

💖 Hooray to little Annie who had her first big girl haircut today.
This was her 3rd visit and today it was time. She’s learning the process really well and stands like an angel in the bath (thanks to her humoms efforts at home).
I managed to steal plenty cuddles while she stole my heart.

💖Hey all!

As we’re fast approaching the festive season, please could everyone check their appointments.
Please arrive on time and be around for collection.
My preferred method of payment is cash or bank transfer as then I don’t pay card fees but I do take card payments for your convenience. Payment is required on the day of your furry besties groom.
I am changing my cancellation policy from now until next year where I need at least 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel without being charged. When you make a booking you receive a confirmation which you can then pop in your diary but are also reminded of your upcoming appointment 48 hours before you’re due in.
I have opened up a few extra spaces for November and do have a couple at beginning of December available. Existing clients will be given priority but I can take on a couple of small newbies.
Please bear in mind that I work alone and usually I am hands on dogs so you will rarely get an immediate response but I will try my best to get back as soon as possible. (My friends and family can verify it’s not just clients that sometimes have to wait for a response 😂)

💖What? Another social media post from the dog daft lady? 🤣
I just want to say a very warm welcome to these scrumptious new faces and thank you for choosing Hoochie Poochie. I’ve missed a few newbies but don’t worry, l’ll get them next time.
After almost 18 months of still working but having to put my job on the back burner slightly to put my family first with my son’s health being paramount, I finally feel like I’M BACK! 🐶
As you know, since Hoochie Poochie began in 2014 I’ve always loved a furry bestie pic so this year Christmas photos will be back and I aim to get everyone 🤞! 📸🤩(Yep, I’ve mentioned the C-word)

The face of disgust!
Boss-dog Betsy has ended up in the bath, due to a no show. My 4th in the past month.
I get that people are busy, things happen etc but this is how I earn a living and when you book an appointment with me you have booked that slot exclusively for your furry bestie. There is a reminder service provided for you. All I ask is at least 24 hours notice and my policy states that payment is required in full (at my discretion) before you get another appointment.
I am not unreasonable, just let me know.

Hey everyone,
I just thought I’d share the All about dog food site that I keep rambling on about to people when asked about food. It’s a great site you can go check what you are feeding your dog and also see what other options are available with an estimated daily cost.
I am by no means an expert on dog nutrition. This is purely from experience.
While the shampoo/conditioner/coat care plays a big role in healthy coat and skin, diet plays a huge role in your dogs over all health and well being and I always recommend health from within as well as shampoo etc.
juts thought it’s worth a wee share.
