A Norman Counselling and Mentoring Services I work as a therapist supporting a range of issues. I specialise in brain injury. I am a psychologist, lifecoach, therapist and mentor working in Somerset, UK.

I have run my own business since 2008. I am a qualified Counsellor trained to Doctorate Level. I offer counselling support for a wide range of different difficulties including relationships, depression, anxiety and drug and alcohol abuse. My techniques include CBT approaches to assist with behaviour change or more interpersonal approaches designed to provide clients with a safe place to talk.

Today the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) published their guidance on rehabilitation for chronic neurological disorders including acquired brain injury (NG252). The headlines point to the need for a single point of contact or case manager in brain injury care and greater education for the health and social care workforce.
