NT LIFE Recovery College NT LIFE Recovery Colleges is for people aged 18+ primarily living in the North Tyneside area with lived experience of mental ill-health.

Although as we focus on wellbeing and coping tools and techniques anyone can benefit. To assist us in keeping our page a safe space for all please follow this guidance when interacting on this page:

On the third day of Christmas, NT LIFE gave to me….

Christmas Card Making!!!!🎄

We had a full house today, with both the morning and afternoon sessions chocka block, and some fabulous Christmas cards were produced ❤️

Plus, we learned a new term - ‘Wabi Sabi’- meaning something doesn’t have to be perfect to be fabulous 😁

The Big Festive Quiz!!!!🎄

Eeh, I nearly laughed up a lung today!! 🙈😂

What absolutely fab sports everyone were today, we even had them writing and performing songs as part of the quiz. Round of applause to you all 👏👏👏👏

There was plenty of bants, more than a little competition for some truly awful prizes, some proper strops, and much merriment to be had 😂

Michael Bauble Day!!!!🎄

Wow!! What a fab, BUSY day we’ve had, with lots of you joining us in making baubles to donate to the fabulous North Shields charity, Live Well With Cancer, who will be giving them to those in hospital with cancer this Christmas ❤️

NT L.I.F.E is the Recovery College for North Tyneside.

Recovery Colleges offer educational courses about mental health and recovery which are designed to increase students’ knowledge and skills and to help them feel more confident in self-management of their own mental health and well-being.

For a person, with lived experience of mental ill health, this may help them to take control and become an expert in their own well-being and recovery and move on with their life despite their mental health challenges. This will hopefully help them to achieve or work towards whatever is meaningful in their lives.

Delivered in a safe and friendly community setting, courses and workshops are co-produced and designed by individuals who have lived experience of challenges with their own mental health, and who want to pass on their LIFE learning, skills and knowledge to help others.
