4 of our amazing clients from LANE have created a social media page with the support of staff called Dine-Ability North East

On a Friday the lads are visiting restaurants across the North East as part of their Friday Community Day discovering new places and building independence.

The lads are highlighting and promoting the accessibility of each restaurant to help others find welcoming and inclusive dining experiences for everyone to enjoy across the north east.

Going out for a meal is something many people enjoy but for those with disabilities or additional needs it can be challenging when you don’t know if a restaurant is accessible or inclusive.

Not knowing if there’s wheelchair access, accessible toilets or a welcoming environment can make planning a simple meal out feel stressful or even impossible.

That’s why Dine-Ability North East is all about exploring local restaurants, sharing experiences and highlighting places that make everyone feel welcome.
