COVID Update - we are working hard to keep your eye care safe! Due to the pandemic our practices and routines have changed. Please do not attend if you are displaying covid symptoms. We are using PPE and ask that you wear a face covering when you arrive. It is no longer safe to perform direct ophthalmoscopy, which was the main technique to view the retina. To check the health of the retina now we must use an OCT scanner and digital photography. If you are entitled to an NHS eye examination there is a charge of £25 , or our private eye examination fee is £49. OCT is a state of the art retinal scanner that we can offer here at Gillies! If you have any questions, please telephone, and our staff are ready to help.
