✋ IMPORTANT!

Unfortunately Trudie has fractured her back this morning, so she won’t be able to run appointments for the foreseeable. 😔

Gina will cover appointments as best she can however our usual opening availability will be disrupted. Trudie try to get round all affected (Wed/Thursday) clients asap from her bed.

This however should mean the admin gets some quicker than normal! 🙈😂

Thank you all for your patience x

🐕 Loss of muscle mass around the hip region (gluteal muscles).
🐕 Reluctance to move and enjoy activities such as running or playing.
🐕 Guarding of the hip joint indicating pain.
🐕 Reduced joint range of motion.

💧What does a hydrotherapist do during my dogs sessions?💧

You might think that canine hydrotherapists just go for a gentle swim with your canine friend but that’s far from the truth!🏊‍♀️
🌊Whilst we are in the water with your dog we are adjusting many treadmill variables:
💦Water depth to adapt resistance for your dogs strengthening programme or to increase buoyancy to assist with your dogs joint mobility.
💦Treadmill speed depending on your dogs capabilities and how much we want to challenge them.
💦We can add an incline when your dog is ready to build on there conditioning plan.
💦Treadmill sessions are completed in several reps for a set period of time.
💦Whilst in the treadmill your dog wears a specialised harness to allow us to support them where they need it.
💦Whilst being inside the treadmill with your dog notice any compensations to movement we can get hands on to correct these!
