Human and Equine Massage
- Massage has many benefits for both horse and rider including release of tension, improved circulation, improved performance, increasing range of movement and injury prevention. Regular check ups for horse and rider can help them work to the best of their ability. With horses using incorrect posture, massage can release the muscles with tension and change the way the horse moves. Schooling, retraining

On behalf of owner.

Earnwell Mariah 7/6//2014

10 year old 14.3hh registered dales mare.

Mariah has three lovely paces and understands lateral work, BD novice level movements and is sensitive to the aids. She was 2nd in her first dressage outing as a 4 year old and didn't put a foot wrong. She has spent the summer at Catterick saddle club where she has been ridden by a number of different riders in various settings. She hacks out alone and in company and is comfortable with traffic. She has been over poles and small jumps and though willing is green in this line of work. With a competent rider she would continue her learning in this avenue. Mariah loves working and would excel with a kind, understanding rider who wants to have some fun.

She would also be suitable as a broodmare.

Burgham BE90

Bazaars Excel smashed it out of the park in the dressage phase today. 28.8 and a very fluid, balanced, connected test. We've worked hard on this section and it's so great to feel the work paying off.

I decided to withdraw from the jumping for another day. She's still very inexperienced on sticky, slippy ground and made a couple of mistakes in the showjumping warm up.
After that she jumped a few more superbly, full of confidence and in front of the leg so I decided to finish on a positive note and she left feeling liked she'd done very well.

I'm a bit disappointed, but definitely feel I made the right decision as she will have only gained in confidence and experience from today, and I can revel in the good vibes of an epic dressage for a bit 🥰

Was such fun having my sister and mum with me today. Think mum's got some competition for top groom spot after leanne's forelock French plait.....🙊

Great day out with Bazaars Excel at Ivesley Unaffiliated ODE.
Our practise is paying off with a great dressage putting us in 1st=, then a double clear in the 90 with a few time penalties to finish in 2nd place.

It's the first time I've competed there and I was really impressed with the friendly atmosphere and lovely educational course - I'll definitely be back.

Thank you to Diane Hopgood for gifting me a beautiful new stock ❤️

Having some fun at home with lines and skinnies this week. Wish has more difficulty keeping her balance with lines off the left rein - so we've been working hard to help this improve!

I'd forgotten what it was like to jump in mid 20s heat! A good educational run at alnwick Ford yesterday in the BE90.

Was great to have all three phases on grass, and incredible to see how solid the ground was - we'll be complaining we need rain soon... 🤣

A good dressage of 32 and no centre line excitement this time. 1 down showjumping and a green stop xc - she didn't see the fence coming as she was too busy looking the other direction. A really good notch in her education ladder and she came home happy and confident.

It was a great course with lots of questions and different looking fences, but set in a flowing manner.

She's got a week off now which I think we both need before we take up the reins again and look to Burgham at the end of July.

SOLD
*Looking for a new home*

'Lady' is a very sweet 11yr old Bay mare. An ID x WB by Stormhill Mink, she is well put together and has been schooled to a high standard.
She's a safe, genuine mare who would suit an easy life as a happy hacker or mother/ daughter share. She would teach someone the basics of good schooling - leg yielding, shoulder in etc.
Lady is barefoot and currently lives out full time. Worming and vaccinations are up to date.
Very sad parting of a family horse due to children moving on in life and no longer being able to give her the time she needs.
Was in light work at the start of the year, and currently as seen from field.
Please contact caitlin on behalf of the owner on 07914 07914 239166 for more information.

*Looking for a new home*

'Cindy' is a pony someone will have a lot of fun on. A lovely Irish bay mare with 4 white socks, at 8 years old she is very low mileage but loves to work and would turn her hand to anything in the right home.
She is a forward thinking mare who would benefit from a quiet, considerate rider to get the best out of her and continue her education. Over the short time she was in work over the winter she came on leaps and bounds, showing her eagerness to work and trainable nature.
A very sad parting of a much loved pony due to children moving on with life and no longer being able to spend the time she deserves.
Currently living out barefoot and is up to date with worming and vaccinations.
As seen from field.
Please contact me on 07914 07914 239166 6 if interested.

We finally broke under 30% absolutely brilliant dressage yesterday at Bishop Burton 100 in very boggy conditions (thankfully the lightning held off until later!) We ended up in 3rd after all the results were in just 0.5 behind 1st place.

I'd already planned to retire before or during the showjumping as we need to step back a level and consolidate the technical fences a bit more, but she jumped the first part of the course like a stag.

It's been a bit of a tough week or so with a few changes to this year's plan, but the loss of Georgie Campbell at Bicton yesterday certainly puts some perspective on things. Cherish every moment.

You win some, you lose some!

Unfortunately our planned step up to 100 didn't quite go to plan this weekend. After a good dressage (despite a couple of moments at the start 🤣) of 34.8, she found the ground slippy on top and had some difficulty taking off in the showjumping so we retired and left it for another day.

In the past I'd have have devastated, but now i try to consider it's a learning day.

Compared to when I was younger, our training these days includes less grass time, so this is something I now need to factor in, so she can come out next time full of confidence in where she's placing her feet.

We managed to reroute to Foxberry on the way back, and on the drier ground she flew beautifully round some showjumps on grass. So we ended on a positive, and are both in one piece to come back another day 🙂
