This Earth Day, we are proud to highlight our achievements in creating a greener environment. Each month, we are committed to reducing waste, and the figures below reflect our progress for March. Throughout the year, we aim to continue improving these results and further strengthen our commitment to a more sustainable future.

We have already introduced a number of initiatives across the hospital to help reduce our environmental impact. These include improving our waste segregation processes to increase recycling, reducing single-use plastics where possible, and encouraging more mindful energy usage throughout our departments. Small changes, such as switching off unused equipment and reducing paper consumption

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month - a reminder of how important it is to check yourself regularly. We know it can feel daunting to wait for results or to even make that appointment, but early detection can make all the difference.

If you notice any unusual changes, lumps, or discomfort, speak to your GP without delay. They can guide you through the right tests and, if needed, refer you to a specialist. Taking that first step isn’t always easy, but it’s a powerful act of self-care that could save your life.

Remember: checking regularly is simple, quick, and could make all the difference.
