Hi everyone
This month, my Wednesday morning breathwork sessions are all about releasing and letting go.

As the trees let their leaves fall, we’re invited to soften too, to notice what’s ready to be released, without needing to force or rush.

Sometimes it’s not about “doing” anything at all, but simply allowing what’s already loosening to fall away naturally.

If you’d like to join us in this space of gentle release, we meet Wednesdays 9:30–11am at Scribble Studio, Rushden.
A calm, grounding morning to breathe, move, and come home to yourself.

November Breathwork Sessions: Releasing & Letting Go

As autumn deepens, this month’s theme invites us to slow down, release what no longer serves, and reconnect to ourselves.

🌾 Dates: Nov 5th, 12th, 26th
⏰ Time: 9.30am to 11.00am
🕯️ No class on Nov 19th (I’m away)
💫 Location: Scribble Studio Rushden

November’s theme is all about releasing and letting go softening into the quieter season, shaking off what no longer serves, and reconnecting with the stillness within.

Each session is a space to unwind, to breathe deeply, and to come home to yourself before winter arrives. 🌙

Letting go isn’t always about doing sometimes it’s about breathing.

Every exhale signals to your body: “It’s safe to soften.”

In conscious connective breathwork, we give the body permission to release what the mind has been holding onto. It’s not about fixing it’s about allowing.

This month, my sessions are all about that exhaling the weight, softening into stillness, and reconnecting to what’s already within you.

As I continue to dive deeper into my own practice and facilitation through this 12-week practise with Pat Divilly, exploring what it means to truly connect to my body, my values and the earth beneath me.

In one of our sessions with Nicola, we were invited to connect with the roots of our values grounding them like the roots of a tree. Through movement, reflection and stillness, I found myself connecting with freedom, joy and kindness.

I could see this big autumn tree full of colour, at times I was the tree, and at others I could see it before me. I wrote:
“I see the love, the joy in the tree and in me. We are all one. That’s where freedom lives.”

As autumn unfolds, I’m noticing how this mirrors my own process the slowing down, the letting go, the warmth that still lives within. Boundaries, values, connection… they all start from within.

As the trees let go of what they no longer need, I’m asking myself what am I ready to release?

Last night’s session felt so cosy and grounding the perfect midweek pause.
With the kids off school and life feeling a bit full, it was lovely to step out for a little while, to breathe, move, and meet others doing the same. There’s something really special about gathering in the evening slowing down together, dropping into our bodies, and finding that stillness before bed.
What really stayed with me was the kindness and curiosity in the room. Everyone open, willing to explore, to breathe, to try something new. It’s those quiet moments of connection that remind me why I love facilitating this work so much 💛

Every time you listen to your inner voice that quiet nudge that says “this feels right” or “this doesn’t” you strengthen the bridge of trust within you.

Trust isn’t built in big leaps. It’s built in the small, everyday moments when you choose to stay close to yourself, even when life is noisy or uncertain.

This is the courage we’ve been exploring all month the courage to connect inward, to listen, and to trust what we find there.

Maybe today you can ask yourself:
What would trusting myself look like in this moment?

Trusting yourself doesn’t happen all at once.
It’s built, quietly, through small moments when you listen, when you pause, when you choose what feels true instead of what looks right.

Each time you honour that inner voice, you strengthen the bridge between you and your deeper wisdom.

This is the work of courage to stay close to yourself, even when the world feels loud.
