I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on awareness and where it actually begins.
For years, I tried to change my life from my head.
Positive thinking, gratitude lists, visualising, pushing forward.
And while I still believe in all of that, what I didn’t understand for a long time was this:
Awareness doesn’t start in the mind it starts in the body.
When the body doesn’t feel safe, no amount of positive thinking really lands. I was trying to think my way into calm, while my nervous system was exhausted and holding so much underneath.
It wasn’t until I slowed down and began listening to my body through breath, stillness, and gentle practices that something truly shifted.
This is the place I now work from, and it’s the space I’m holding in Saturday Night Stillness this February.
A calm, grounding evening to settle the nervous system, soften the mind, and gently return to yourself.
This is our second time running it and the last one fully booked.
