The Starting Solids Workshop is a relaxed, supportive session for parents who are beginning (or thinking about beginning) solids with their baby. It’s designed to gently guide you through when your baby might be ready and how to get started in a way that feels right for you.
Babies are very welcome to come along. There will be toys set up for them to explore, and you’re free to sit comfortably, listen in, and take what’s helpful for you with no expectations, no pressure.
What will the session cover?
🥦 How to spot signs that your baby may be ready for solid foods
🥦 An overview of different approaches, including spoon-feeding and baby-led weaning
🥦 Ideas for first foods and how to gradually build a balanced diet
🥦 Safety tips around choking and allergies
🥦 Gentle ways to support healthy eating habits early on
There’s also plenty of space to ask questions, share experiences, or simply listen and connect with other parents at a similar stage.
After the course a WhatsApp group will be set up so you can ask any questions you may once you get stated.
