Parents of Neurodivergent Children 🧠❤️

We're running a training workshop for university students who will be working with children and young people. We are supporting the professional development and understanding of neurodivergent children's real experiences at school.

📋 What we're asking: Please ask your child the 6 simple questions in the attached questionnaire and respond with their answers and age.

🎯 Purpose: To demonstrate the value of engaging directly with children, enabling professionals to develop more effective support, by understanding each unique individual need and experience.

The goal: Moving from "What we think they need" to "What do YOU need?"

🔒 Anonymous:
• No personal details required
• Just child's age, gender and responses

Responses will be used to inform our training.

Screening vs. Full Assessment — what’s the difference?

I get asked this a lot.

A Screening is like a spotlight.
It gives you clarity on what’s going on right now, highlights potential areas of concern, and offers actionable steps you can start straight away.

Quick. Accessible. Practical.

A Full Assessment is more like a documentary.
It’s in-depth, formal, and leads to a diagnosis. It’s longer, more detailed, and often comes with a waitlist.

Essential when a diagnosis is needed for school, work, or medical support.

The gap?
Too many people are stuck waiting years for assessments, when what they really need is clarity and a plan today.

That’s why we offer Screenings — they don’t replace assessments, but they bridge the gap and help people (and their coaches, teachers, or employers) take action now.
