New client story 💬
A new client came to me this afternoon 🌙🧘♂️
a barber who spends long days on her feet. She’d been struggling with significant discomfort in her right leg, including nerve pain, and her whole body was holding a lot of tension.
When the body stays tense for long periods, it can begin to affect everything. The nervous system, connective tissue, and overall mobility changes. Over time, this can leave you feeling tight, restricted, and in pain.
As we worked together, it became clear her body had been living in “survival mode” — that constant fight-or-flight state so many of us experience without even realising.
Life builds up 💆♀️
Stress, grief, relationship changes, health challenges, it all adds weight to the
“backpack” we carry every day.😩
Eventually, it becomes too heavy… and the body starts to speak through aches and pain.
My approach is simple:
When we support the nervous system and allow the body to shift from rush into rest, that’s when true repair can begin.
After the session, she said:
"Wow J, I’ve never experienced a massage like that before."
And that’s exactly why I do what I do🙏
