Ambulance Rescue is proud to announce the launch of our new High Dependency Ambulance Operations training programme, delivered in partnership with Elite Academy and Elite Qualifications & Awards (EQA).

We are now offering the EQA Level 3 Award, EQA Level 3 Certificate, and EQA Level 4 Award in High Dependency Ambulance Operations.

These qualifications bring together over a decade of real-world experience in high dependency ambulance operations, delivered by experienced instructors who actively understand the demands of modern patient transport services. The result is a specialist, purpose-built qualification for professionals undertaking high dependency ambulance transfers as part of commissioned patient transport contracts.

Modern UK practice has moved on. Simply placing a FREC 4-qualified clinician on a vehicle and designating it as “HDU” is no longer acceptable. This programme has been designed to meet the expectations of patients, providers, commissioners, and regulators, ensuring safe, effective, and clinically appropriate care.

The tiered structure of the qualification allows organisations to raise standards progressively, ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering enhanced patient care across services.

Courses are also priced to remain accessible, allowing individual clinicians to self-fund training as part of their continuing professional development (CPD).

📩 To book a course for your staff or to request further information, please contact:
info@ambulancerescue.co.uk

📍 Open-access courses will commence in Northamptonshire from 1 March 2026, with courses running monthly thereafter.

A little milestone today just proves Ambulance Rescue is going in the right direction.

Called last minute to help with discharge support to our local NHS hospital with less than two hours notice.

By the end of their shift our crew had managed to clear the discharge lounge and enabled patients to return home.

This is what we are built for.

Over the last week we have been out engaging with hospitals and patient transport providers delivering capability demonstrations for our high dependency and critical care transfer services and patient extrication and rescue team.

We have had a significant amount of interest and already received bookings for next week!

If you require ambulance bookings across the UK we have paramedic and nurse lead high dependency and critical care transfer vehicles and crews available nationally.

Our bariatric specialist rescue team PEAR is also available to support complex extrications for pre planned admissions or discharges

Ambulance Rescue Limited provided a paramedic level ambulance to ShowMed

Excellent and really professional team today and look forward to hopefully helping out ShowMed again in future!
