We are looking for a new member to join our team! This is a full time role; 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a highly motivated person who will add value to our already established team, you must have at least 2 years experience in retail or a healthcare setting, a high level of customer service, confident using computers, an approachable nature, friendly and professional manner. The ideal candidate must have an eye for detail in a fast paced environment with the ability to think on their feet.
You will have the ability to build strong relationships with patients and your team, you will be able to understand individual patient needs and tailor your support and advice appropriately.
Full Job Description
Ideally qualified to NVQ2 level(or equivalent), although training may be considered.
- To select & label pharmaceutical products in accordance with a prescription by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and to comply with all legal requirements.
- To ensure safe and correct transfer of dispensed items to patients.
- To accurately maintain Patient Medical Records (PMR) to ensure patient safety and in accordance with data protection requirements.
- To identify medicine related problems or queries and bring to the attention if the pharmacist.
- To receive and store stock in accordance with SOPs.
- To ensure safe and appropriate storage of medicines.
- To assist with stock control and maintenance of reasonable stock levels.
- To select and recommend suitable products and provide advice on their correct use.
- To refer to pharmacist when appropriate
- To assist in providing pharmaceutical care to patients by carrying out reasonable duties as determined by the pharmacist.
