How much menstrual pain is 'normal'?

So many of you wonderful Women out there experience terrible menstrual pain, heavy bleeding and PMS. Please do not just assume that you have to live with this and that severe pain is the norm. It can be debilitating and really difficult to go through.

Well written on blog on 'busyness'. I just don't think we know what to do with ourselves when there is a space in time. Out comes the phone or computer. Yesterday I enjoyed sitting in a field with my family in the sunshine and having some 'being' time. It was beautiful and I felt so nourished. We should schedule in 'nothing' time as we schedule in everything else in our diaries!

Our overscheduled lives leave little time for contemplation and reflection. How do we enable each other to pause and reflect together and ask how our hearts are doing?

A wholesome feast last night for women! Houmous and vegtastic appetiser, thai curry with butternut squash and mushrooms, followed by baked bananas with cinammon & dates! No food hangover necessary. Food as the centre of a nourishing gathering for body and soul.
