We want to address some recent changes regarding The Gel Bottle Inc (TGB) BIAB products, as transparency with our clients is extremely important to us and following an official statement if appolgy from The Gel Bottle Inc this week we wanted ti keep you all up to date.
There is a lot of information floating around on social media and we wanted to be the ones to update you and put your minds at ease….
Due to legislation changes coming into effect in late 2026/early 2027. TGB and all other Gel Brands have had to reformulate their products to remove TPO. During this change TGB also removed HEMA. Both of these ingredients play a key role in curing and adhesion.
Unfortunately these changes were made and we were not told of these changes in advance. Due to this we have noticed that the longevity of nails has fallen over the last couple of weeks since we open our new bottles of them (BIAB). We sincerely apologise if a couple of nails have peeled off and of course we will do these complimentary if they have peeled within the week if your appointment.
Our priority remains delivering reliable results to our clients, and at this stage, the products are still meeting that standard for us.
Your nails, safety, and overall experience will always be our priority. We are currently exploring the potential of maybe introducing alternative BIAB brands to keep the longevity of them.
Please rest assured — we remain fully committed to providing top-tier nail services, with the same care, quality and attention to detail you know, love and trust in us.
We would like to remind clients that some lifting is completely normal, nails aren’t indestructible, follow our aftercare advise and continue oiling your nails every evening to keep your nails hydrated and to avoid any unnecessary lifting.
