💛 A Family's Generous Gift to Our Community

We're so pleased to share that Laveen's parents have once again shown incredible generosity in their support of SCCYC.

Laveen volunteered with us and completed her Duke of Edinburgh Award here, and it is truly heartwarming to see her family continue to support our work long after her volunteering journey with us.

Their kind donation will make a real difference to the families and young people we support, and we are truly grateful for every contribution.

It is always inspiring to see the bonds formed through volunteering extend beyond the individual, and become a lasting connection to our community.

Thank you for helping us make a difference.

💛 Most of Us Don't Think Twice About Fresh Food

We pick up fruit and vegetables without a second thought.

A bunch of bananas.
A bag of potatoes.
Oranges for the week.

For many families in Northampton, it's not that simple.

Fresh produce feels like a luxury when you're managing debt, navigating a crisis, or simply trying to keep the lights on.

The basics become out of reach fast.

At SCCYC, our Food Aid service exists for exactly these moments — providing food parcels, fresh produce, and emergency support to people who need it most.

Today, we're asking for your help.

Fresh donations of fruit and vegetables; bananas, oranges, potatoes, onions can be dropped directly to us at: 35-37 St James Mill Road, NN5 5JW. We'd love to hear from you, just DM us first and we'll arrange a convenient time for you to drop them to us at 35-37 St James Mill Road, NN5 5JW.

£ donations can be made here: https://lnkd.in/eeTxn5r

If you're lucky enough not to think about where your next meal comes from, this is a small way to extend that security to someone who isn't.

If you can't donate, a share, like, of this post goes a long way - thank you.

Can you help us reach 100 Easter eggs? 🐣

At SCCYC, we’re collecting 100 Easter eggs to share with local children and families in our community this Easter.

If you’re able to donate, we’d love your support.

Donation deadline: 23rd March

Drop-off location: SCCYC Waterside Connect, 35-37 St James' Mill Rd, Northampton NN5 5JW
