❓Did you know that pregnancy changes how the body responds to infections such as Flu, increasing your risk of complications.

👶Having the flu vaccine during pregnancy not only protects you, but also your baby, as babies also have a higher chance of getting seriously ill if they get flu.

🤧The flu vaccination is available for all pregnant patients at our drop in clinics, including a clinic that is held outside of the hospital, at Towcester family hub (Mondays only). Please see below for further details.

A fab team working together to ensure your voice is heard 🥰

🤝 Teamwork makes a difference! 💜

Here’s our Northamptonshire MNVP team alongside the amazing Patient Engagement Midwives from NGH and KGH — all working together to make sure every users voice is heard. 🌸

By listening, learning, and sharing experiences, we’re helping to shape better maternity and neonatal care across Northamptonshire.

A big thank you to our wonderful service users and all the families who share their stories with us — you’re at the heart of everything we do

A very big welcome to our new NGH MNVP champion 🤩

We are very pleased to welcome Eno to our team as NGH Champion!! 💜

"I am Eno, and I have lived in Northampton since 2016.

My background is working with children from 3-18 years in a range of roles including a Nanny, Nursery Manager and Senior Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead at a local secondary school.

I had both of my children at Northampton General Hospital, and my experiences where extremely different as my daughter was born in April 2021 during the pandemic and my husband couldn't attend appointments with me, whereas my son born on May 2025 he could attend every appointment.

I had Gestational Diabetes in both pregnancies, which tailored my pregnancy experience and I am the first in my family to have the condition.

I am hoping my bubbly and transparent personality will help other mothers open up about their experiences so I can support the MNVP to enhance future mothers pregnancy journey and postnatal experiences."
