Happy Monday

Today I thought I would give you some advice about repairing your liver .

Dark chocolate supports liver health because use it contains antioxidants called flavonoids

When I do the 30 day programme I have a small amount if I fancy anything sweet.

Another snack to improve liver health is a handful of nuts.

Mixed nuts, are rich in vitamin E, acts as an antioxidant that protects liver cells from damage.

So next time you go shopping pop these in your trolley. Also recommend at least 75% but I have 85%.

Shared this picture to show benefits of more reasons why you should add to your lifestyle .

Happy Sunday - I have been talking to few people this week about Gut Health. I have written a brief (ish) essay 😂😂 a healthy gut will be healthy you.

Your gut is so much more than a place where food is digested. Often called your “second brain,” it carries an intricate web of neurons and a hidden wisdom — sensitive, intuitive, and deeply attuned.

It notices when you’re worried, when life feels too fast, or when something you’ve consumed isn’t nourishing you.
Sometimes it tries to get your attention with bloat or inflammation, not to punish you, but to whisper: Something inside needs attention and love right now.

Just as we pay attention to the words of a trusted friend, we can learn to tune in to the signals of the gut.
Sometimes it asks for gentler foods, more rest, or replenishing hydration.
Other times, it longs for a break from chronic stress and overload, or for us to honor our emotions instead of pushing them down.

When we respond with compassion, a message of safety emanates through the body and nervous system.

With that sense of safety, the gut begins to soften, to settle, and to heal.

What follows is more than physical relief — we rediscover a quiet freedom within, a return to balance, and ease.

This kind of healing ripples outward, uplifting our confidence, nurturing our well-being, and helping us to look and feel our best.

At its heart, it is a remembering — within us lives a wise and sensitive guide, always ready to lead us back to wholeness

Please do one thing today for YOU take a moment in silence, listen to your breathe and your body. Is there something that don’t feel right. Do you feel tired or can you not sit in silence and just breathe

If you can’t you need to start with a minute and focus as stress creeps in fast distracting your mind and your gut

Move your body with intention and breath

At 4pm nice years ago today I was told out of 5 other yoga/Pilates schools

I, yes me 😂 as a solo yoga teacher who taught in Kettering 4 times a week and had only been qualified for 3 years at that time

WON best YOGA teacher of NORTHAMPTONSHIRE 2016 . An award that I was nominated for which I wasn’t aware off.

It was a tough award to be up against “schools” It went on for a week and I remained in 1st place for 4 days so butterflies and excitement to keep my place 😂

It still means a lot to me to achieve this as it’s not an easy award to take away.

Passion in life was to always help others and loved teaching all abilities and ages.

I am sharing this pose I used to love The Fish pose or in Sanskrit Matsyasana.

Matsya meaning fish and asana meaning pose lol
The benefits are as follows :
This pose stretches the chest and spine, improving posture and respiratory health. It stimulates digestion, enhances circulation, and relieves stress. Practicing it regularly supports flexibility, relaxation, and overall well-being

Give it a go:) xx

Remember all that lost and fought . Many people are not aware of this day.
I post this picture every year as I’m thankful to have a day at the beach with love and laughter

If you’re not aware this is why today marks D-day . I love history xx

In June 1944, Allied forces launched the Normandy Invasion, also known as D-Day, on the coast of northern France. The landings, part of Operation Overlord, involved the largest military seaborne operation ever attempted, with the goal of liberating N**i-occupied northwest Europe. The invasion began with paratrooper drops and naval bombardments, followed by the landing of thousands of troops on five beaches.
Key aspects of the Normandy Invasion:
D-Day:
June 6, 1944, marked the start of the operation, with troops from the UK, US, Canada, and France attacking German forces.
Beaches:
The invasion involved landings on five beaches: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword.
Objectives:
The Allies aimed to establish a beachhead, break out of the Normandy, push the Germans back, liberate France, and capture key ports.
Challenges:
The Normandy landscape, known as the bocage, with its dense hedgerows and narrow roads, posed significant challenges to the Allied advance.
Casualties:
Both Allied and German forces suffered heavy casualties during the invasion and subsequent battles.
Outcome:
The Normandy invasion marked the beginning of the liberation of Europe and ultimately led to the defeat of N**i Germany.

FEAR:

Once we realize that fear is a state of mind, we can choose to face our fears, change our minds, and create the life we want to live.

Everyone has fears — it is a natural part of being human. Fear can protect us from harm by sending a rush of adrenaline to help us physically deal with potential danger. But there are times when fear may keep us from participating fully in life.

Once we realize that fear is a state of mind, we can choose to face our fears, change our minds, and create the life we want to live.

Our minds are powerful tools to be used by our higher selves — like computers, storing and using data to make connections between thought and response.

We have the ability to observe these and choose differently. No matter where the fear came from, we can create new connections by choosing new thoughts.

When our souls and minds are in alignment, we create a new experience of reality. This journey requires many small steps, as well as patience and courage through the process.

Here’s an example: You decide to overcome your fear of driving on the motorway . Your plan of action starts with examining your thoughts and finding a new way of seeing the situation. When you’re ready, enlist a calm companion to support you as you take the first step of merging into the slow lane and using the first exit.

Your heart may be racing, but your confidence will be boosted by the accomplishment. Repeat this until you are comfortable, with or without help, and then drive one exit further. When you are ready, you can try driving in the middle lane, for longer periods each time, until you find yourself going where you want to go. This gradual process can be used to conquer any fear, but if you find it overwhelming, you can always seek the help of a professional.

You may think that you are the only one with a particular fear — that nobody else could possibly be scared of ordinary things such as water, heights, public speaking, or flying. These types of fears are very common, and you can have great success overcoming them. Remember, it is not the absence of the fear but the courage to take action anyway that determines success. When we learn to face our fears, we learn to observe our thoughts and feelings without being ruled by them. Instead, we choose how to shape the lives we want.

Last year some time I started a course of Gut health and Immune system

As many of you know as an Holistic gut health and mindset coach I do like to keep educated and learning.

After a few things going on in the last year
Out of my control I was finally able to complete the course and today was told I had passed with the college of Naturopathic Medicine.

A lady who has incredible knowledge and designed the program for our 30 day program (recipes for gut health) which again many know I do that about three times a year (including now) totally inspires me.

The messages I send for advice and help , always there for me and to do my short course with the same college that the lovely Sarah Law trained with , I didn’t have to think twice.

If I can have as half the amount of knowledge and helping others that Sarah does, I would be well happy. This has made my year and shows no matter what you can achieve with a great mindset and working on yourself.
Amen xx
