I’m often asked when is the best time to drink cacao. Usually I have my cacao at about 3pm, a natural break in my day and a time that I carve out space to reset. This morning, however, I had my cacao first thing, on an empty stomach… and honestly, it just hit differently. 🤎
So grounding. So heart-opening. So nourishing.
One of the things I love most about cacao is that it’s not just a drink… it’s a ritual. A moment to slow down and tune in.
✨ When to drink cacao?
There’s no one “right” way — but here are a few beautiful times to explore:
🌞 Morning (empty stomach) for clarity, energy, and heart connection
🌿 Before meditation or journaling to deepen intuition
🔥 Before movement or yoga for gentle motivation
🌙 Evening for comfort + emotional release (especially with a calming blend)
But the best answer is always… listen to your body.
Cacao is a plant medicine, and it meets you where you are. Some days it feels like a sunrise drink… other days it feels like an afternoon reset.

Sip slowly. Set an intention. Let it be an experience, not a rush.
I like to drink mine warm, with a few deep breaths before the first sip — almost like a mini ceremony.
