In Loving Memory of Denise Rye
May 1940 ~ August 2025

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend….who was a counsellor and long-time supporter of The Northampton Clinic.

Denise was not only a trusted professional but a vibrant personality, a compassionate listener, and a truly beautiful soul whose presence touched so many lives.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Simon and her Hannah (and grandchildren) at this difficult time.

We are holding you close in our thoughts.

Rest in peace, Denise. You will be deeply missed. 💜

Are you a mature driver who relies on being able to drive and lives in Northamptonshire? Then this FREE roadshow is for you!

Driving is an important part of our everyday life, and the Northamptonshire Safer Roads Alliance (NSRA) is keen to help keep mature drivers to drive safer for longer.

Our driving ability to drive changes over time for varied reasons, especially as we get older. It is important that we recognise whether and how our driving is changing so we can stay safe and protect both ourselves and those around us.

The NSRA’s Mature Driver Roadshow is aimed at drivers aged 60+ and will cover all distinct aspects of driving. There will be a short talk and then time to meet informally with our stand holders.

Free advice will be available on car adaptions, eyesight, how your prescription medications may affect you, and much more. There will also be FREE mature driver assessment available to book, delivered by IAM RoadSmart.

Well this is interesting… it will be enlightening to see how it catches on. Personally, I can’t imagine not wanting or needing a human touch - it helps on more than just one level. And could AI manage to take part in the conversations that bubble up during a treatment? This week alone, I’ve discussed health, politics, economy, pets, offspring, holidays, weather and diet, amongst other subjects, with my patients.

New online booking system! From this Bank Holiday we are using a new online booking tool. The ONLY thing you need to do is update the link you have for doing this. In every other respect, things should be self-explanatory. This change coincides with an improved reception service, who can also book you in directly too. Let us know if you have any questions!
