Children can develop Type 1 Diabetes at any time – Parents don’t ignore signs of

The 4Ts of Type 1 Diabetes are:
1. Tired - feeling more tired than usual
2. Thirsty - child being really thirsty
3. Toilet - going to the loo a lot, bedwetting starts unexpectedly
4. Thinner - losing weight or looking thinner

Henry was 12 years old when his Dad collapsed whilst the pair were out on a run together.

Henry called 999, performed CPR and thanks to help from passers by, he managed to find a defibrillator before the paramedics arrived.
