Staff are doing all they can to keep in touch with residents. At 11.00 am every week day we dress up in fancy dress costumes and walk outside the entire village to ensure over 300 residents can visually see us. We have a portable speaker blaring out 60s music and those that are able dance as we pass them. It’s called the daily wave. Every day we have a different prop item for them to wave back to us with. Today was a spoon but we have had, tea towels, socks and slippers to name but a few. However Fridays are always to bang on a cooking utensil which seems to be their favourite. We do well-being calls every day as well and have various craft activities to do in their apartments. The village shop continues to work hard delivering the essentials to their apartments. Our priority is to keep everyone safe. Thank you everyone for all you are doing.
