Well Run, built on spreadsheets, course maps, and a belief that running events could feel more human.
This year, we grew. Early starts, nervous weather checks, last-minute signage fixes, volunteers stepping up without being asked, and finish lines filled with emotion.
Race organisation has taught us that success isn’t measured by perfect logistics (although we try). It’s measured in:
Runners trusting you with their goals
Communities coming together before most people are awake
The quiet pride you feel when everything just works
And the lessons you take when it doesn’t
Behind every event is problem-solving, adaptability, and people who care deeply about creating a great experience and not just a fast time.
I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who ran, volunteered, supported, partnered, and believed in Well Run this year. You’re the reason we do it.
Onwards to bigger starts, smoother finishes, and even stronger communities in the year ahead.
