I bloody love this video, it’s what sound frequency does to water… and our bodies are like 60% water 🤪

So now imagine what it does to the water in your cells…

Vibration on a cellular level, shifting every stuck emotion, all the held trauma & stagnant energies.

Shifted, so that we can process and release.

It’s not invisible and it’s not ‘just placebo’ 🙄

It’s physics.

Yes yes yes, I was gardening through my depression and anxiety, not running around like a dinosaur. But I was desperate for something to shift… and so I got into and beyond, and then these became my lifeline 👇🏼

FIGHT
🥊 Anger, irritability, snapping at people. Clenched jaw, tight shoulders
Feels like: ‘I need to push back’

FLIGHT
✈️ Anxiety, racing thoughts, can’t sit still. Constant busyness, and avoiding feelings
Feels like: ‘I need to escape this’

FREEZE
❄️ Numbness, disconnection, brain fog. Can’t make decisions, and procrastination
Feels like: ‘I can’t move or think’

FAWN
🐶 People pleasing, saying yes when you mean no. Prioritising everyone else’s needs first
Feels like: ‘I need to keep everyone happy to stay safe’

None of these are wrong, they’re just your nervous system trying to protect you and energy healing helps to regulate these responses.

As we move into the depths of autumn, it becomes more apt for many women to lean into these energies for deep transformations. Trees are letting go of leaves and releasing what’s no longer needed: without resistance or guilt. There’s no clinging on to what served them during summer. They simply let it all go & trust that new growth will come.

In TCM, autumn is associated with:
- Metal element, representing letting go & setting our boundaries
- The lungs & large intestine, our organs of releasing & elimination
- Grief & our capacity to process our losses
- Our ability to discern what’s of value to us & what we need to release

The natural introspective energy supports the deeper inner work, the shorter days create natural permission to slow down & the cooler weather helps us turn inward rather than constantly giving outward energies (hey backdoor boogey folks... you were never meant to go out in the first place!)

But autumn ≠ healing AND you really don’t need to wait for the *perfect* season to begin. I’ll keep saying this: we cannot rush your healing journey, your readiness matters more than anything else 🤍

Every season has its own qualities to lean into. Some need spring & new growth energy. Others need the glorious summer warmth to feel safe enough to open up.

If you’re starting my 12-week programme now, you’ll be moving through autumns releasing energy, winter’s deep rest and restoration, and we’ll be completing as we transition into spring’s renewal energy. I mean, that’s quiet poetic if you ask me... releasing, resting & emerging. Transformed as nature does the same.

My clients will 100% get my love for mirroring the trees from their treatments 😂 but honestly, letting go is natural & truly doesn’t require force or perfection. We simply notice that what falls away creates space for what’s coming 🫶🏻

This is from a stressed out teen who booked in for Reiki & Crystal Therapy ahead of their exams 🙌🏽

I was honestly just super humbled & happy for them, reading this 🥹

We all know that exam pressure can be intense. I mean, the overwhelm of even trying to revise while your entire nervous system is already in overdrive is just exhausting - and that’s before you even start 😔

But regulation of our nervous system looks like this 👇🏼
- Stress free revision
- No overwhelm thinking about what needs to be done
- Actually being able to focus & retain information

Our children are navigating more than ever in todays world. They’ve got not just exams, but social pressures (including 📱’s), hormonal shifts, and the sheer intensity of growing up in today’s world. They carry tension & stress in their bodies just like everyone else.

*BUT* when your nervous system is calm, life becomes more manageable. Studying doesn’t feel impossible & tasks aren’t so overwhelming. There’s mental capacity to actually think clearly.

To all the parents: if your teenager is struggling with stress, anxiety, or generally feeling overwhelmed, then energy work can support them - if they’re open to it. It’s gentle, non-invasive & gives them tools to regulate their own nervous system.

Natural modalities aren’t just for grown ups who’ve accumulated decades of buried emotions, and sometimes the best thing we can give our children is to help them learn nervous system regulation early on in life.

“There’s nothing wrong with you, maybe try yoga or lose weight”

Suffering from years of pain, but that’s what lots of us women hear. Then our tests come back normal and symptoms get dismissed. You’re told it’s stress, anxiety, or ‘just hormones’ 🙄

Medical gaslighting may very well not always be intentional, but it’s still absolutely devastating.

When your experience doesn’t match what the tests come back with, conventional medicine often comes to a halt, no longer looking for a cause - it’s in our head or we’re hypochondriacs. If blood work is normal and scans are clear, you’re told nothing’s wrong, but your body is screaming otherwise.

I learnt that just because something can’t be measured in a lab, it doesn’t mean it isn’t real.

Energy work covers what conventional medicine often misses: the emotional elements of the physical symptoms, how trauma is stored in our tissues, the whole mind-body-spirit connection, and ultimately patterns across your whole system. The body is not a multitude of machines put together, it’s one machine with multiple components which all work together.

No, I am *not* saying skip your doctor. But I am saying there’s more to healing than what standard medicine can see.

Your body isn’t lying to you. It’s speaking a language that needs different listening. Whether it’s whispering to you or screaming at you - please listen.

If you’ve been dismissed or gaslit - hey, I believe you!

And I work with what medicine misses.

In the 1980s, psychologist James Pennebaker ran experiments that proved what healers have always known: your body pays a physical price for holding down difficult emotions.

His participants wrote about traumatic experiences for just 15-20 minutes daily over a few days. The results were measurable - fewer doctor visits, improved immune function and lower blood pressure.

The control group who wrote about neutral topics experienced ZERO changes.

Not pseudo science.
Real documented science.

What Pennebaker proved is that suppressing trauma takes actual physiological energy that shows up as stress on your immune system, blood pressure and overall health

And so I recommend writing to my clients. Release it. Get it out of your body.

Journalling about what’s coming up.
Writing letters to people or situations from your past - things you never got to say that you play over and over in your mind and heart.

Then burn it and release it back to Mother Earth 🌍

It’s not just symbolic, it’s your nervous system getting permission to stop holding what was never meant to be carried forever.

The study used structured writing whereas I combine writing with energy work in the therapy room.
Both address the same truth:

✨what’s unexpressed doesn’t disappear, it gets stored and shows up as physical symptoms, a weakened immune system and chronic stress ✨

And so we focus on release, not just relaxation (although that does play a huge part).

Your body isn’t just tight - it’s holding emotions that never got processed (why deep tissue isn’t always needed!)

Science backs what we practice. Release matters 🫶🏻✨
