Breathing Space Yoga Welcome to my yoga classes for adults, pregnancy and postnatal, baby yoga and baby massage in Northwich. Friendly, calming classes. Suitable from 14 weeks.

No previous yoga experience necessary. Adult Yoga: Hatha Yoga classes focusing on wonderful alignment principles to help a safe practice and heart opening to empower and uplift. I aim for classes to be supportive of each student as an individual, a balance of energising and relaxing through yoga poses, breath and meditation techniques and above all fun! Meditation, Yoga Nidra and rest:
I teach meditation and yoga nidra relaxations throughout all my classes. I also teach meditation courses and monthly classes for deep rest focussing on restorative yoga, meditation and yoga nidra. Mum and Baby Yoga: Enjoy uninterrupted time with your baby and learn simple movements based on the principles and postures of yoga which will help you and your baby to communicate, bond and best of all relax. Baby yoga is great for building confidence in handling your baby, supporting your baby's natural physical development and helping digestion and sleep issues. Gentle movements will help with postnatal recovery for Mums, and all carers and babies will benefit from a shared experience of relaxation. Classes will provide techniques you can continue to use throughout your baby's development. Above all classes are a place for you and your baby to meet other new parents and I give plenty of time to chat at the start and end of class. Suitable from 6 weeks postnatal. Pregnancy Yoga: My pregnancy yoga classes enable mums to be to take some time out each week to focus on themselves and also connect with their babywearing/ies. Classes are a place to come to relax, unwind, meet other pregnant ladies and to learn how to use yoga both to bring space, stability and confidence in your body and also your mind, in preparation for positive experience of labour, birth and motherhood. I offer plenty of hints, tips and other useful links throughout class and my aim is for everyone to have a positive experience no matter what kind of birth birth journey they take. About Me:

Hi I'm Sarah. I have been practising yoga since 2001 and am a mum to two small boys. I have been teaching since 2013. I took my 200 hour yoga alliance training with Bridget Woods Kramer. I am qualified with Birthlight as a pregnancy, postnatal and baby yoga teacher and I qualified with To Baby and Beyond to teach Baby Massage. I trained to teach meditation with Beanddo, yoga nidra with Yoga Nidra Network and restorative yoga with Adelene Cheong. Let's talk about postnatal exercise.
Maybe you are ready to join a class, maybe not. Your pregnancy and birth may have been pretty smooth sailing and you want to begin to explore your new postnatal body and how to find your way back to fitness. Your pregnancy and birth may have been hugely challenging physically and mentally and you don't feel very much like you any more, or really connected to your body. Or you may be somewhere between the two. The important thing is to be where you are right now and start there.

Postnatal fitness classes are a good way to meet other parents and do something for you now that life seems to be all about baby.
A good, well trained postnatal fitness instructor is the place to start. They will have the knowledge to help you exercise safely to avoid long term injury or problems which going too fast, too soon can cause. They will begin with your current health and recovery and work from there. Some classes will integrate your baby or allow you to have your baby with you, so do some research and I'm sure you will find a class that works for you.

Join us for a magical evening to celebrate the longest night of the year — a time to slow down, cosy up, and gently welcome the festive season.

🌙 After arriving in our tranquil space, lit by candlelight and twinkly fairy-lights, sink into soothing restorative yoga with Sarah of Breathing Space Yoga. Using yoga props, cushions and blankets you’ll be supported in gentle yoga poses designed to help your body release, rest and be held in stillness as you let go of the outside world. No experience is needed — simply come as you are, suitable for all abilities.

✨ Then, drift deeper with Kathryn from Flourish Holistic Health as she guides you through a peaceful Solstice meditation and immersive sound bath experience. You'll be taken on a journey with sound, with the frequencies from beautiful Alchemy quartz crystal singing bowls, ethereal chimes and a glorious gong transporting you to deep states of consciousness and the opportunity for true rest and restoration. Peaceful Reiki energy will blanket you throughout to support the healing. 🌕 A moon yoga salutation - slightly different to Monday nights class, and a stronger version than at daytime classes...

This week we're beginning a series of classes with the moon as our theme and honouring this week's Beaver Supermoon.

Time to look towards winter and make sure we're prepared for the shorter days and longer nights.

💚Want to try Yoga? Been meaning to find a class? It’s not too late to join us this term.

I've been teaching yoga in Northwich since 2013, my classes welcome a really friendly community of yoga students of all ages to my evening and daytime classes. No previous yoga experience is needed, and I give lots of options and alternatives so that you can enjoy the class at your own pace for your own body. My classes are not fast paced or too complex, although we do like the odd challenge! I’d love you to try out a class. There are usually a couple of spaces at all my classes available.

You can pay for single classes if you prefer the flexibility.
Half term blocks reduce the cost of classes, but must be used within the dates specified.
If you want to make a regular commitment I can arrange pro-rata payment for the remainder of the term – and I will factor in your free class – just get in touch.

👶👶Calling all twin and multiple babies!

Twins and multiples are always welcome in my Northwich Mum & Baby Yoga and Baby Massage classes.

💚Mums - whether you come on your own, or bring your partner or a family member of friend with you, you will enjoy some time to enjoy some baby massage or baby yoga and a bit of time for some much needed stretches and postnatal recovery. You only pay for one space in class for both babies (or all babies for multiples).

Sometimes a sibling will sleep and you get 121 time with the other(s), sometimes you'll alternate babies with the movements/massage, I happily work with one baby where I can so you don't need your superhero 2 pairs of arms and hands! Of course if you bring someone with you they also get to enjoy the benefits of class.

Baby massage is one of the best and most gentle first classes for baby. We go at their pace, stopping for feeds, nappy changes and cuddles when needed.

💚You will learn some gentle fun head to toe massage and movement for your baby which support your baby’s development - including techniques to support sleep and digestion issues.
💚My classes include an introduction to gentle postnatal recovery through breathwork and pelvic floor techniques.
💚You will also learn to support yourself and baby through relaxation and mindfulness

Classes include fun songs and rhymes as well as plenty of time to chat, I love to facilitate parents sharing experience, supporting each other and laughing together and as a team member of Pregnancy Baby & You Cheshire, I will help to signpost you to local services and support you might need for your individual postnatal journey.

💚 Whether you are navigating your pregnancy or postnatal journey, from your appointments and milestones, to the huge changes in your body and mind at this time I am here to support you.

💚 In my Pregnancy Yoga class you will enjoy gentle, mindful pregnancy yoga - a gentle mix of breathwork, movement and connecting to yourself and your baby. . My pregnancy class is much more than yoga - it's a space to feel more confident in your unique journey and understand your changing body, learn to advocate for yourself throughout your pregnancy, birth and beyond, have confidence in your choices throughout pregnancy and birth. Suitable for anyone, regardless of the kind of birth you plan, and no previous yoga experience is required.

💚 In my Mum & Baby classes, as well as learning some beautiful baby yoga or massage techniques to share with your baby, I will support you to find confidence in your new postnatal body. Kat – Mama Magic -is a Doula and KG Hypnobirthing teacher, parent educator, and also specialises in infant feeding support & early years parenting help.

 

Come and learn (or refresh) your tools for labour and birth with your birthing partner so that they can really support you through your journey to birth and you can both feel confident.

 

💜Explore both the medical and non-medical approach to labour and birth.

💜Practice movement and techniques together.

💜We cover positive birthing in hospital and at home.

💜It's also a really good complimentary course if you are already doing NHS or NCT courses.

💜We’ll take the theory and knowledge from these and help you to put it into practice.

 

We know that for partners this workshop gets them onboard and gives them a real confidence boost which is essential for you to have good birthing support wherever you have your baby.

Are you a new mum looking to meet other new mums? Would you like to spend some time focused on your pregnancy or postnatal journey? Would you like to join a nurturing and supportive community? Why not try pregnancy yoga, baby massage or mum and baby yoga? You don't need to have done any yoga before or be flexible. You can come whatever birth you are planning/have had.

💚 As a pre and postnatal yoga teacher I have supported hundreds of mums and their babies in Northwich since 2013. I am passionate that women are supported well through birth and the postnatal period.
