Update on the Transit from previous posts with the installation of a separate relay to give the required earth to the main relay, triggered by the wake up signal from BCM as a temporary fix until we can get it back in for a new ECU.

Gets our local builder back at work in his transit van 👌

Earlier this week we had a Jaguar XF in for an alarm fault, using the Phoenix Max from our awesome community partners Topdon UK we were able to see the cause of the alarm triggering ………..

Using the OEM info from our awesome community partners ALLDATA Europe GmbH we can logically trace the fault……..

We can smell the weekend coming……..

It’s been hectic in the workshop with lots of vehicles to diagnose, member ride alongs and a busy technical helpline via our zoom feed.

One of the vehicles this week was a Nissan X Trail which came to us with the horn not working.

Our customer asked us to validate another diagnosis of a faulty spiral cable BEFORE they bought the part.

So using information from our awesome community partner ALLDATA Europe GmbH we were able to apply logic and find the real cause - green crusties in a connection.
