Lostock Lodge Care Home Our philosophy is simple - our residents and their families are at the heart of our home.

Lostock Lodge Care Home is conveniently located close to the town of Northwich and the M6. The care team is on hand to provide person-centred residential and dementia care either long-term or for short-term respite stays. The purpose-built care home features a private dining room, garden room, cinema and garden. The catering team provides daily home-cooked meals catering to all dietary requirements.

Yesterday we made the most of the dry weather and ‘planted’ our Poppies with the help of our Residents ❤️

We think our ‘Poppy Gardens’ look beautiful 🥰

A big ‘Thank you’ to everyone who gave us their empty, plastic bottles. We managed to create a 130 poppies!

Today we took a trip to the Imperial War Museum in Manchester 🚐

We saw their amazing Poppy display and then went and had a look at their exhibits 🪖

Some of our Residents pointed out what they recognised from WW2 and another shared stories from when she was evacuated 🧒

It was lovely to spend time reflecting with our Residents, especially with Rememberance Day coming up ❤️

This afternoon we were joined by the very loveable Griffin 🐾 and his owner Lizzie.

Lizzie is working towards her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award and wanted to volunteer with the elderly as part of it.
So with the help of her dog Griffin, they came in to see our Residents for some much appreciated animal therapy 🥰

Thank you for your visit, Griffin and Lizzie, we can’t wait to see you both again 💖

🎃🖤 HAPPY HALLOWEEN🖤🎃

It’s been a ‘frightfully’ busy day at Lostock Lodge today! 👻

This morning we were joined by the lovely children and staff from S4YC Northwich who joined us for some Halloween Crafts and ‘Trick or Treating’ We thought their costumes were wonderful! 🥰

Then this afternoon we were joined by Benji, the ‘Spider Dog’ who came in to show off his costume! We thought he was the cutest spider we had ever seen 🐾

This morning we went to Pickmere Village Hall to join their ‘Warm Welcome’ coffee morning. ☕️

We had a lovely time chatting to the other visitors, sharing memories and making new four-legged friends 🐕

And of course, we couldn’t go empty handed so our talented Chef made us this wonderful cake to take with us 🍰

We’re already looking forward to our next visit ☺️

This afternoon we had the honour of celebrating one of our Residents, Granddaughters Wedding 👰🏼‍♀️

We set up the cinema room for the occasion and popped open the Prosecco to celebrate the happy couple as we watched them tie the knot🥂

This morning we introduced our ‘Movers & Groovers’ sessions 🎵

We know not everyone is keen on exercise so we are hoping these sessions will support our Residents with their mobility through fun and exciting games ☺️

We popped on some feel good music and played some ballon tennis and target practice 🎈
