Remembrance.
As we enter into the period traditionally set aside for Remembrance I have decided, as in previous years, to mark this time with a series of posts and images all relating in some way to that theme.
Let us be clear, Remembrance does not mean the glorification of war. It is showing respect to those who have given their lives to preserve the way of life that we hold dear.

To start the week I have posted an image depicting a soldier, a dog and a horse. All of whom have in numerous conflicts made the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf….Bob.

Even the aluminium plank floors rot.
Please get them regularly checked.
We have had several horseboxes come to us over the past couple of months which have been maintained by commercial vehicle garages and all of them required new floors and ramp repairs.
A lot of garages don't carry out general safety checks on the floors, side walls and ramps.

This video demonstrates how important it is to have your floor, ramp and sides professionally inspected on a regular basis.

This skylight fan has been a very popular addition for many horseboxes lately. Temperature control, different fan speeds and also has the option to extract the hot air aswell as blow. A nice luxury in this hot weather.

The pesky mice have been causing trouble again, chewing through fuel lines and fuel tank and had a good feed on a wiring loom causing some major damage to a main control module. Always a good idea to have the odd mousetrap set up, it could save you a hefty bill in the future 🐁 🐁

What a busy, manic couple of weeks we have had doing all sorts of various jobs, replacing a rear axle, making and painting top ramp doors, replacing rotten floors and bringing rotten cabs back to life, to name a few.

This was a accident waiting to happen but lucky we caught it just in time. A 6 year old build and One of the worst floors we have seen. not only was the ply wood floor rotten the steel van floor had totally gone. Old floor cut out and a new steel floor welded in. Another example that a lot of people think the floor is checked when the vehicle goes for its MOT.
