When you're stressed, cortisol builds up in your body. But for a lot of us, we just have to keep going until the stressful event is over. You have to survive that moment.
Then the adrenaline wears off. You finally stop and slow down and it's like your body goes, "Okay cool, we're safe now. We've got time. Let's fall apart."
The key is awareness and planning ahead. If you know you've got a busy, stressful time coming up or a big day out, put a recovery day in your calendar. Your body will thank you💛
