Today we said goodbye to one of our own.

A heartbroken family who've lost a partner, a brother, a father, a grandad and a true friend far too soon.

Beautiful tributes, poems and music made our eyes swell with tears and our hearts burst with love.

Your memory will burn brightly forever and to live in the hearts you leave behind is not to die.

Being asked to be the Celebrant for a family arranging a loved ones funeral service means so much to me. So to be asked by the same family 4 times to be their Celebrant means the world!

I have gotten to meet an extended family and friendship circle that all grew up together in the same village and are indelebly intertwined.

Community and friendships often compliment and sometimes replace family bonds, so to have all of these relationships in your life you are truly lucky.

My name is Edwina Johnson and I am a Family & Funeral Celebrant known as "A Fine Celebrant".

I live in the fine city of Norwich after moving down from Yorkshire over 18 years ago, and live in a vibrant part area with my husband and our 2 dogs. I enjoy cycling and exploring Italy by car.

After attending a number of civil weddings and researching and meeting Celebrants for my Mother’s funeral I became interested in Celebrancy as a career.

With over 20 years in business management, professionalism and attention to detail comes naturally. Combined with my intuition, empathy, warmth and sensitivity, the Celebrant role was a perfect fit for me.

I work across Norfolk with many local Funeral Directors, conducting unique & memorable Funeral Services, Celebrations of Life & Memorials as well as Wedding Ceremonies.

I will help and guide you through your service making sure I capture all the important and special details as every occasion is completely personal and unique to you and your loved ones.

I love my job, and it is an honour and a privilege to help and guide families during such important moments in their lives.
