Good evening all.
I have a few pictures from my last couple of shifts.
Friday morning we had seated zumba with Sarah Chow Fitness & Toning . Lee caused havoc during the class!
Friday afternoon he held some games of Boggle with the group.
Yesterday they enjoyed carpet bowls and Who am I? with Lee too.
This morning, we ended up watching the Remembrance day footage on the big screen tv in the drawing room and observing the 2 minute silence to honour the veterans and the fallen, lots of the group wished to watch it.
Lunchtime, we had a full dining room for Natasha's roast pork dinner and Eton mess dessert!
After lunch we had a chilled knit and natter session, a couple of the ladies enjoyed some Baileys too.

Good evening all.
This morning, Ben held a Remembrance day service for the residents. Barbara from the church came along and gave a reading too.
After lunch, we were lucky enough to have musician Rachel Mcdonald performing for us on the Flute and Mrs T's piano.
What a beautiful, relaxing afternoon.
We had a really great turnout from the residents and they have requested Rachel return in the new year.

Good evening all.
This morning we decided to create some firework art .
The group used coloured pencils, paint and glitter to create their firework scenes.
After lunch, it was scheduled for a singalong. Not many attended so the group decided they would like to watch a dvd. I found a lovely David Attenborough documentary and we settled down to watch that. We were amused at the antics of the animals and enthralled by his commentary.
I have also managed to book the tickets to the Cinderella pantomime at The Theatre Royal for the residents that wished to attend. We will be going to the matinee performance tues 23rd December - how exciting!

Good evening all.
This morning, we had a think fast word game which turned into a little reminiscence session. Lee couldn't get any takers for gentle exercise upstairs so he spent some 1-1 time with a couple of the residents that live upstairs.
Lunchtime, our chef Kirk created a lovely Chinese menu- sticky cod or salt and pepper chicken (or both!) With egg fried rice and noodles. He even made some prawn crackers. The dining room was decorated with some Chinese decorations and all the residents had a fortune cookie..
We are hoping to take the Residents around the world with some different dishes in the future too.
Lee hosted a noisy game of Halloween prize Bingo with some spooky treats I managed to find for the occasion. There was a great turnout and our Jan won 3 of the 5 prizes!
A bingo evening out is on the cards in the future as lots of the residents would like to go.
Hannah is working this weekend, and myself and Lee will be accompanying her and the residents that wish to attend to the fireworks display at Wroxham FC Sunday evening 😀🎇🎆

Good evening all.
This morning, Lee held a very busy carpet bowls session for the residents.
The group are quite competitive and it was a close win!
This afternoon was the first of our outings to see the Edith Cavell exhibition at Norwich Cathedral Library. It was really interesting to see the artifacts, including her dog Jack that had been preserved after his death, and one of her dresses.

Hello all.
I am back from my annual leave, some of you may have spotted me at Broadacres last week as I had a training session and then joined the knit and natter session Thursday- I can't keep away!
Hannah, Lee and Jessica kept the residents entertained with various activities in my absence.
This week so far we have had skittles, exercise, Halloween games, word wheel games, card games and a quiz.
I had a great turnout for the quiz this afternoon and 6 of the residents went to tie break for an overall winner!
Tomorrow afternoon, we have the first of our outings to see the Edith Cavell exhibition at Norwich Cathedral Library.
We had a great response and are needing to do 2 trips 😀

Good evening all.
This morning was our fortnightly seated zumba session with Sarah Chow Fitness & Toning . We had a great turnout for her high energy routines. Even the music makes us happy 😊.
Hannah held an adult colouring session upstairs with some lovely autumnal pictures.
After lunch, we tried our hands at some short story writing. After we had read out our stories I put up the pictures from the cat cafe yesterday on the tv for the others to see.
Hannah is working this weekend has some fun activities planned.

Good morning all.
Yesterday, a couple of our cat loving residents had a special treat.
Lee took them to The Cat House to meet all the cats and enjoy a coffee. Both ladies were really excited at the prospect of a Cat cafe , and the experience didn't disappoint.
They got to meet and pet lots of beautiful cats, Joan even had cheeky Jasper trying to pinch her cake !
The ladies and Lee came back lunchtime full of facts and information from the visit with beaming smiles and memories that they will share for a long time 🥰
Please enjoy the pictures.

Hello all.
Thursday morning, sadly our dear friend Reverend Neville was under the weather so the service was cancelled this morning.
We played cards and scrabble instead.
After lunch it was time for some group crosswords, we managed to complete 3 different crosswords with our combined knowledge.
