Unfortunately, too many families and friendships break down for no good reason, usually because people are too stubborn and unwilling to put their egos aside. Yes, you may have to have a difficult conversation, and yes, you might have to admit you were wrong and apologise, but what is the alternative? A life without that person? A life filled with regret? Open water swimming has been proven to be amazing for our mental health. I absolutely love a dip in the cold water. It makes me feel alive and energised.

The cold gives you a rush of endorphins, the 'feel good' chemical in your body. You then get a sense of euphoria, which is long lasting and with no crash.

It gives you a real boost of energy and sure does elevate your mood. Especially when swimming with your doggo and in nature amongst the dragonflies and trees.

It's a great way to boost mood and help get you out of a depressed or anxious slump. It has also been proven to help you sleep and regulate your hormones.

Please make sure you are safe, and before you try, get advice from a local group to take you through the basics of breathing how long to stay in for and health safety.

Having something that can calm you instantly will bring you a wonderful sense of peace, and you'll feel more confident within yourself that you can do it.

Try not to let anxiety take control. When you feel overwhelmed, take action!

It's your bodies way of telling you it needs a break to reset. Stop for a moment and try this exercise it really does help.

Allow yourself time throughout the day to pause, breathe, and gather your thoughts. It's all within your control ✨️
