You are a beautiful individual whose journey back to running will be unique to you.

Adding impact steadily and mindfully will ensure your whole body is happy on that progressive path.

What’s working for your mum friend might not be what you need, and I appreciate how annoying and frustrating this is. Being told in black and white is far easier but the human body doesn’t work that way ❤️

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

Birth preparation matters because it offers you every ounce of information you do not get from maternity services and appointments.

Birth choices matter but thy can only be made when all of the options are laid out to choose from!

Medical appointments are not long enough and hospital appointments, more often than not, are very one sided.

Whilst my bump yoga+ classes are not full antenatal educations, I do my utmost to give as much information as I can each week and this can work beautifully alongside an antenatal/hypnobirthing course.

If you’re looking for a pregnancy specific movement class the includes lot of the choices and options available to you, please check out my bump yoga+ classes.

Yes, the overwhelm of information can definitely have you feeling a little confused and lost

But this isn’t what I am talking about

I think we feel lost because we’ve lost the spark, the joy and excitement surrounding pregnancy

It has become normalised to step onto this pregnancy conveyor belt and trudge through the motions, the appointments and maternity services. Which, sadly, do not always fill us with joy and happiness

Pain, discomfort, fatigue have been also been normalised, but this isn’t the case

You hold the power to feel amazing and so you should. You are strong, beautiful and amazing and are growing another little human!

If you’re looking for a class that promotes wellbeing and movement, in an environment that takes us away from the dreary attitude we face in the outside world and injects a spark of feeling awesome, then please come and check out my bump yoga+ classes

Did you know this?

Rib flare can affect everyone in different ways, but if you enter pregnancy already tense, tight and stressed, this could exacerbate rib ache and other pains and discomforts.

Another reason why pregnancy yoga and my bump yoga+ classes can help move, mobilise and offer relief from some of these common symptoms.

If you’re looking for a pregnancy movement class that also includes lots of information about the physical changes of pregnancy, please check out my bump yoga+ classes.

***Class cancellation***

Due to temperature issues the pool at Holiday Inn is closed. There is no bumpfit aquanatal tomorrow night.

Everyone has been emailed and text, however I am still waiting on a few people to message and acknowledge they’ve received this notice.

I am so sorry, and hope to be back to normal by next Tuesday x

Two reasons we talk 💩 during pregnancy

1) Constipation

2) Position (this is also part of the pelvic health conversation too!)

If you’re looking for a pregnancy specific movement class that includes lots of information and education to help your health and wellbeing, please check out my bump yoga+ classes.

Next three week block starts on 19th February

Have you tried squeezing and tensing your quads, and keeping that tension to sit down?

Your pelvic floor needs to be strong enough to support pregnancy but also have the ability to release, relax and lengthen for birth. The trouble is most of us are holding tension due to our busy and stressful lives and many of us haven’t a clue how to connect and relax this area of our body.

Tension does not equal strength.

Tension is not our friend.

Tension can prolong the time it takes baby to rotate and descend through the pelvic floor muscles.

Would you like to learn more? If so, check out my bump yoga+ classes. Next three week block starts tomorrow night.
