Macey and her mum Gemma came back to see us this afternoon. Today they were joined by a couple of Macey’s friends for a Christmas craft afternoon at Rose Unit with some residents.
From an early connection with Friend in Deed Gemma and Macey have become familiar faces at Two Acres, becoming friends to many residents who always enjoy there visits. We look forward to seeing them again in a few weeks time

Another special afternoon at Two Acres Care Home this afternoon when our regular Thursday group of students visited from Langley School in Taverham.
Since September, in association with Friend in Deed , they have joined us regularly, working towards there community kindness award enjoying intergenerational time with our residents also learning about aspects of the care home.
Today they helped to decorate some Christmas trees on Iris unit.

Once again Jacob, Sue and the team at Tesco Drayton have worked hard collecting gift ideas from all the local care homes including us at Two Acres Care Home to ensure all residents receive an extra gift at Christmas time. There giving tree is now up in store. Thanks from everyone at Two Acres for all your hard work.

About Two Acres Care Home

Two Acres is divided into four Units providing all levels of care for older people, each with its own focus of care speciality.

Two Acres has developed a speciality in caring for older people with dementia and looks at individual needs and diversity.

The Home is set in pleasant landscaped gardens, with easy wheelchair access and seating areas. ‘Maple village’ is used during summer weather for coffee mornings and entertainment.
